I just got off the phone with someone that was able to find the new rate and apply it to our reservation. She said they had 25 calls on hold when I went into the queue. All these new rates and promotions are keeping them super busy.
There were issues when I called the first time when the CM noticed that my wife's name was missing, our email address disappeared from its field, and the notes were blank. She apparently fixed it even though she wasn't able figure out how to get the system to adjust our rate. Well after the CM changed the rate she noticed that my wife's name, our email, and notes were all missing from the reservation (again). She added the information back in and also made a note that it was our 7th Anniversary.
She told me that we were going to love the different kind of experience of the DLR without our kids and the change of pace (although she recounted saying she loves to go with her grand daughters too and experiencing everything through their reactions and experiences).
She was really friendly and we had plenty of time to chat while she waited for the computer system to search, apply and confirm the changes.
Best part is our really good rate, got even better! As long as the reservation stays and the whole thing doesn't magically disappear! jk
(I did get the new confirmation email with the totals (3 times within 5 minutes, so we should be good)
