Jan 2007 codes?

Subscribing. We've booked for Jan 11-15 at WL, but if AP codes come out, would be sweet!

Hey doodlebugs, how were the crowds last year? We went over MLK a couple of years ago, arriving on the day before the holiday. I thought it was pretty busy through Tuesday, but then things seemed to settle down by Wednesday. We will be arriving the Fri before MLK this coming trip.

Hey blanq, the crowds weren't bad last year. Busy on Saturday and Sunday, but the parks seemed to clear out fast on Monday afternoon. We tend to arrive at park opening and wait times never seemed a problem for us in the morning. Doesn't compare to June at Disney! Have a great trip---let's hope discounts come out soon!

i am still waiting on a january code,
but could someone tell me how to use the codes?
i used them last year, but by booking on the phone,
when i try to use the current codes (just for reference)
and price my january vacation online in early december (as the codes are suppose to apply)
i never get asked for a code.
i could swear i have seen that asked when you try to book online.
any thoughts?
does anyone even understand what i am trying to say?
no biggie, just anxious for the code, so i can figure if we can add another day.

Hi everyone, joining in for the January code watch...we're going from the 12-15 (just a quick holiday weekend trip) and staying at POR...unless a really great code came out for a deluxe, then we'll upgrade.

Looking forward to smaller crowds than I'm used to...being a June and NYE Disney vetern, I think MLK weekend should be a treat. Or so I hope!

I am new at this too. If and when a code comes out for the date you want to stay or are staying you need to call for the reservation and provide the code. I have my ressie with AAA for Jan 27 for 6 nights. I will call them and ask if the code can be applied if one comes out for the general public for that date. I think they in turn call Disney reservations and check for availabity. When this last code came out first it was for Disney visa card holders only, a few days later it was for AP (annual pass) holders and then after that general public. You can call Disney yourself and make the resie at that time, and or see if they can apply the code to your ressie ( not sure about ressies already made. It all depends upon availability. Kind of like how the airlines have seats at different rates.

Just wanted to say, for anyone who is wondering...yes you can apply a code to an existing reservation. You just call CRO and ask them to do it. DO it as soon as you hear about the code.

Oh wow, I really hope it doesn't turn out like that! That would mean a lot of last minute planning for a lot of people! For me, I never know how long my trip is going to be until rates come out, and I see how many days I can afford. Here's hoping they come out this month or next!

We are considering a trip for January 1 -6 of 2007 and we just spoke with an agent at AAA yesterday.

She gave us a quote of $1709.98 with dining at Port Orleans Riverside and 4 day base tickets.

We're hoping for a special and we are switching over to a Disney Visa too.

Anyone have any other suggestions? This will be our 4th trip in 2 years and we need a deal! It will be DD's 6th birthday celebration on Jan. 2nd.

Does anyone know what type of code was given if any for Jan/06? We went then, but didn't know of any codes. We did book through AAA so we at least got that discount. Trying to avoid Marting King weekend as it was pretty crowded this year.
