Jan 2007 codes?

We're booked January 4-10 at POR. DH is running the Goofy challenge. If a good AP code came out we'll definitely be moving up to Deluxe. If it's not a good code at least we got AAA at POR. Last July we were able to get YC for $254 a night (waterview). Would LOVE to see that code come out again!

Spoke to a CM today we are staying at VWL with no points and paying, she said that the AP rates should be coming out in Late Oct Mid November Lets hope

I'm subscribing because I hope to snag a room-only code for 1 night. We're renting points at BCV for Sun-Thur (Jan. 21-26), but need a room for Fri. night. I'll keep my fingers crossed!

Just subscribing, to keep in the loop. I, on the spur of the moment yesterday, booked airfare to Orlando for 1/12-1/20 so now I WILL go to WDW in 1/07! I am doing things backwards, as usually I book everything other than airfare first. Anyway, I called CRO this morning and booked a room-only reservation at WL. We haven't been to WL since 1999, so are excited to head back there, and enjoy the newly renovated rooms! I will suck up the close to $2000 cost if codes don't come out, but I am crossing my fingers for one! Based on code release dates for the past couple of years, we may be waiting until Oct/Nov for any.

i'll be at wl the same time (11th-16th)!

i am about to book a the wilderness villa for jan 07 by renting points
is that a bad bet?
could the codes on a package, be better than the deal of renting points?

We're thinking about going in January if there is a good code. We have AAA so we could get a discount with that, but I'm keeping my eyes open for other discounts. If we go it will be Ja. 16th to 21st.

Subscribing, waiting for the AP codes for 2007 :surfweb:

We are booked at POR, Jan 1 - 5th then moving over to SSR for four days. I sure would like a code for the POR nights.

subscribing.

I am trrying to convince DH for a Jan trip. If I can keep costs down it'll be a lot easier to convince him, but he so does not want to stay at a value resort.

I wouldn't care...if I am at Disney I am happy.

Subscribing.....hoping for ap discounts for MLK weekend. We were there last year at that time and it was a good time to be in the World!

We are booked at POR Jan 10-15... Firdst time celebrating my birthday there!!
I would love to get a good code! :goodvibes

Just subscribing to this thread. I am trying to convince my husband to take us to Disney in January. I would love to stay on property if we could get a great rate. We have always stayed off property. But I want to do it different this time and go all out(within a certain amount). I would love to do the dining and take the girls to a fwe character meals. We haven't been able to do that either. And I need help with booking on property and all the codes and such. Thanks ahead of time for all the great help I know I get on the DIS.
:)

We are hoping for a code also. This is the first trip for us since May of 1995 and our first trip with DS 12 and DS 6. We are booked for CR on Jan 1-5, but have decided to stay an extra two days and CR is booked the 6th and 7th. We will probably stay at POR or POP. If anybody has any suggestions we our appreciate them. We didn't realize how much it would cost, boy are we hoping for a code.

I want to know when a discount comes out for jan so just joining the list

I have rented points, and have to say that it generally is a good deal. We went to WDW a couple of years ago, renting points at $9 pp for a week-long stay at a BCV studio. So, $926 for a full week ($135/night average). Even at the going rate of $10 pp, it's a good deal in my book. The best room-only code I have gotten in the past was for AKL and WL, at $129/night. You get a bit more room in a studio, and have the convenience of a mini kitchen also.

Hey doodlebugs, how were the crowds last year? We went over MLK a couple of years ago, arriving on the day before the holiday. I thought it was pretty busy through Tuesday, but then things seemed to settle down by Wednesday. We will be arriving the Fri before MLK this coming trip.
