I just got up to take my cousins to Disneyland (for the first time), just checked the weather and I see a wind advisory for Anahiem (until Saturday)... and they really wanted to see the fireworks :headache:

Guess I'll just be hoping for a miracle

We have reserved Fantasmic seats for tonight. Does anyone know how to find out if the show is cancelled? If it is, I'd like to try to move to a different night ASAP. We were planning on being at DCA for most of the day. Thanks!

On raining days or thunder storms, F! can be canceled from those weathers. Mostly when it is high winds, the fireworks is mostly canceled and F! can run on windy days. But they can cancel F! if it is really windy.

OP - Don't worry too much about the wind advisory as it is about what the wind is doing at the time of the fireworks, AND what direction the wind is blowing, not just if there has been wind or not. You may very well still get your fireworks. :)

It will not be determined until just before show time. Sometimes they will even delay the start for 5-10 minutes in effort / hopes of the winds dying down long enough for the show to go on. Wind is not as big of a concern for Fantasmic! as it is for fireworks.

Yea the show was awsome. We
Didn't do dessert boxes but we managed to get a decent spot. I did get a hot fudge sundae right before the show started. My DD slept through the whole thing darn it. She passed out about 15 min before. She just couldn't hang any longer.

My 18 mo did the same thing! Woke up when the cannon went off, screamed for a minute, turned and saw the lights, was mesmerized, then dozed off. Didn't wake up until after the fireworks! And the whole thing was sooo loud I can't believe she slept through it!
