OK we're HERE!! Got to the port 1030ish. In line and checked in by 11ish. Have been sitting in line ever since trying to keep the family together. If they would all just consult their travel binders or the DCL Passporter then it wouldn't be such a big deal! All those repeat questions.

Anyway, as soon as we get aboard, in just a few minutes, we're off to Palo for ressies, then off to Parrot Cay for lunch.

It's a bit chilly here today, but at least it's sunny now. Yesterday was beautiful. Mild and no humidity. Can't wait for the warmer weather.

FYI, *this* week (who knows about next time) for Eastern the semi-formal night is Sunday, and the formal night is Thursday. The December 13 Navs posted somewhere are the opposite, which is what I had last time.

OK one more post and then I will either take a nap or leave the room . I really like being able to surf from my stateroom. I have a tablet PC connected to my cell phone. Don't ask I have many gadgets at my disposal. I haven't been to Cove Cafe yet, but maybe surfing there will be nice too. The Internet Cafe is not secluded enough for me, though in it's new configuration (new to me anyway) it seems a little nicer.

I'm all setup in the room, just waiting for the luggage. Looks like a bunch of beds (mattresses) and carpeting is being replaced. There is a ton of old carpet outside in the dumpster. They offloaded several rolls too. And there are stacks of new mattresses outside. Fun!

Thank you for the immediate updates! Our family was scheduled to be on that ship with you but our DD 3 became ill in the night and we had to postpone. The Disney Reps were so kind and helpful that they got us through a disappointing time.

I've been reading these threads for weeks in anticipation of our first Disney cruise and I can't wait to get on that ship...as soon as possible!

Please have fun for us on this week! I'm sure your trip will be fabulous!

You have a wonderful attitude and your daughter is lucky to have such great parents!
