No they do not. From my last cruise, people spread it out throughout the cruise. My husband and I would typically only deliver a few at a time on our way to other parts of the ship throughout the week.

Hi Jennie,

Our first FE was assigned days. I liked it. My BFF and I made deliveries with our two daughters. We knew we had the last night, so our gifts were travel related... snacks and mini crafts for the kids to do in a car/plane.

The second cruise on which we participated in an FE, it was random delivery. That worked too. It gives people the flexibility to deliver a little here and there as they have time. To answer your concern, gift delivery did tail off some as the days went on. I kept wondering... is it over ?

I'm not sure if there's a philosophy about what time to deliver. I've seen people out and about at various times. We deliver last night after most are asleep as "not to get caught" like

Another thing with assigned day, everyone knew there were 7 days of deliveries and not to pack away their FE early

We have 21 cabins participating in the Mickey FE... ideally that's 3 cabins making deliveries each day.

I'm obviously happy with whatever, never done it before so find it hard to even imagine what it will be like!!
If it's going to be random I'll just use my sneaky side to try and deliver when no one else is!!!
I've nearly finished making my gifts now and that makes it all so much more real and exciting
Thinking of getting something uk specific to go with the things I've made, is there anything you think would be particularly well received?

Hummm... something UK specific.... my fave would be Cornish Pasties... to bad they wouldn't travel well and DCL has a rule against bringing aboard home-made food.

I guess I'll have to get out my grandmother's receipe and make some myself

Celebrations
I've listed the celebrations on the first post. Right now they are in the order people are joining the thread. I'm thinking about reordering the list in event date order. This would mean cabins/families could be listed multiple times. I'm not sure how others use this information. If you use this info as part of your FE surprises and deliver a cabin all at once, it might be better to keep it the way is is. If you like to say “Happy Anniversary” as you see people on deck, then day-by-day would be better. What do you think... leave it or change it ??

A suggestion for assigning FE delivery dates - be sure to check with everyone to see if their FE gift is related to Pirate night/Castaway Cay/formal night/general gift. I would be disappointed to receive a Pirate related FE item after Pirate night.

My FE's will need to be delivered before Pirate night and our visit to Castaway Cay. I would prefer to only deliver once.

On our previous FE cruise we delivered the first evening - worked out really well for us.

I do not mind when I deliver our gifts, they are not specific to a particular part of the cruise, but I do like the idea of assigned delivery dates because I'm a bit Of a major planner!!
I'll obviously go with the majority though

We used points for DH and me and cash for Sabrina when we booked ... with DVC you can look at it that we've been paying all along

I think folks on the Mickey FE group want to do random delivery days vs. assigned days, I haven't really asked the Donald FE group yet. DD Sabrina dropped and received some magnets from other tweens on random / celebration days. This really didn't have anything to do with the FE... just more DISmagic One gift per person is typical. Some folks do a family gift for the parents and individual gifts for the kids. Example of a family gift might be a keepsake item with the family name on it. Last cruise some items we received didn't pack/travel well. I think they were crafted by folks who drove. I was sad to arrive home to find broken mementos. I don't mind either way. I was planning on delivering my gifts the 1st night or 2nd morning before breakfast. I'm fine with whatever you all decide.
