So excited!!! Just need a little info. on how exactly the FE gift exchange works. I read that I will receive a list of everyone that is in my group, along with their room numbers. I've seen this done while I was cruising before bit this is my first time participating. Are there specific times or days that you deliver gifts,or is that your personal choice?? And does it start first night we cruise and until last night? Any info. given would be great...Thanks!!!

It sound like you have the idea :thumbsup2
There was some discussion of assigned days or going random. Each FE group could pick a style. We're going random on Mickey FE. I think Donald FE is goign random as well. Goofy FE can do what ever you-all want.

As far as delivery...First night through last day. I'd say before first dinner on the last night or you may find the FE will be packed away. This is something we should talk about as a group... when we pack the FE

Your cabin as a whole gives one gift for each person in the cabins on your FE list. A family gift for the adults plus individual gifts for the kids is also good.

What else would you like to know?

It looked as though we are only waiting for "Carlene13" for our group. Is that correct? I don't know how the FE list usually works but our cabins have already started making our FE gifts. We have "Carlene13" included in our totals. Not sure how other people feel about it but If they don't confirm I will either be giving them the gifts we made anyway or adjusting the gift slightly and giving it to another cabin. Either way we are good.

Thanks for the input, Beth. Your plan is very generous. I do see two options ... leave Carlene13 (3 cabins, 11 individuals) on the Donald FE or I can move them to the Goofy FE. Currently Donald has 22 cabins and 74 individuals. Goofy has 10 cabins and 30 individuals. Moving them would balance the lists a little and give Carlene a little more time to reconnect or bow out. I do have all their names, kid's ages and cabin numbers... just no way to reach them

Anyone else have an opinion what we should do? :confused3

:jumping1: Jammin To Jamaica Meet & Greet :jumping1:

Thanks to Amira (TinkerMama88), I connected with Alma, DCL Groups & Events Specialist. She can reserve a room / space for our Jammin' to Jamaica Meet & Greet. Alma's email mentioned holding it at 2:30 – 3:30 pm before safety drill. That sounds good to me. After the Fire Drill is the Sail Away Deck Party.... we don't want to miss that! Alma said they will finalize arrangements around the 30-day mark.

We might have a challenge with that (the Andersons). Our boarding time is not until 145p. If possible, pushing it back an 1/2 hr or an hr would be helpful. But if not, we would do our best to attend.

We touchdown to Orlando at 1109A. After getting luggage and getting to the shuttle, I see us leaving the airport about 1215p. An hr drive to the port puts us at about 130p.

Does my timing sound about right after we get our luggage?

Would we be able to check in early if we arrived before our prescribed boarding time?

Any feedback would be appreciated.

I agree with Beth. Finalizing the FE list as soon as possible would be great.

This is our first cruise... Meeting up before drill and sail away party sounds good to me. I don't want to miss anything ;) sometimes to the point of over planning our itinerary. My husband keeps reminding we are on the cruise to relax! I just want to see/ do it all :)

I think we should move them to GOOFY. That way they have a few more weeks before GOOFY group get close.

Sounds good to me! We are taking the DCL ME from WDW. From what I've read on other threads we "should" arrive by 1:30, plenty of time drop our day bags, grab a frosty beverage, and make it to the 2:30 meet and greet! Thanks for all your work planning all this!party:

On our last Disney Cruise, we boarding about 30 min eariler than our specified time. We can't push back the start time for the Meet & Greet as DCL stops all ship services around 3:45 for the Safety Drill. We'll plan to take the photo around 3:15 to give everyone time to find us.

We should plan to meet, and take the FE Group picture all together!

Great idea. We'll take the giant group photo and ones for each FE Group. Maybe a KIDS ONLY too!

:rolleyes1 [SPOILER ALERT] Details to follow, but you may not have to grab a frosty drink before the Meet & Greet :tink::drinking1 :woohoo:

Thanks for the info. I think I am going to bite the bullet and book disney transportation to the port with the chance of entering the port earlier than our port arrival time.

How were you originally planning to get to the port?

I'm thinking you would have more flexibility with private transportation. Can you simply change your "Port Arival Time" on your reservation?

The small challenge, I was able to get 1230p while my parents only had 145p available to them. Checked in at the same time so I thought this was odd. Then when I went back to change ours because my parents were later, it still had the earlier times available. Weird, I know. With 2 kids, my parents and husband......at this point I just want to get to the port and get checked in. No desire to make any stops along the way.

Hi Lise, I did not receive the spreadsheet for the Donald FE group you just mailed, I did send you a email at the address you listed also. I am sure you will send the list to me once you get the messages., if you need my email again just let me know. I will forward to the other rooms in our group. Thanks so much. Alanna - SFamily7
