I'm getting so excited!!! Just booked the air and our pre-stay. We booked our private stay with an owner and got AKL Studio. Were coming in on Tuesday. Its going to be so so fun!! Also booked a private tour for Jamica. Lets all get excited we are going to all have a blast!!

You're going to love AKL. We stayed at Animal Kingdom in 2004. We really enjoyed Boma Tastes of Africa Buffet. I loved sampling all the different dishes. Some were familiar. Other tastes were so unusual I just had to have more and MORE! We ended up eating there multiple times

What are the ages of your kids? I'm looking into activities to do at the resort. We only plan on going to Animal Kingdom Park and then hanging around the pool and resort.

My boys are 9,7&4 and my daughter is 2. We are doing mixture of park days and resort days because we arrive on Sunday 17th so have plenty of time. We are looking forward to doing lots of swimming on our resort days and we love the movies under the stars by the pool in the evening. How old are your kids?

I think the Cozumel Beach Break would be good for Sophia. We did it when Sabrina was 3 (2004). From what I see, they've added a waterpark with a zero entry pool that looks to have good options for little ones (and wild options for big ones). Pool, sand and beach are a good, flexible fit for kiddos. (Infants are free)

A few years back we did Grand Cayman Island Tour, a multi-stop tour that included a visit to the Turtle Farm. We enjoyed it, so this time I think we'll do the full excursion at Boatswain's Adventure Marine Park and touch the turtles, watch the sharks, tropical fish, swim in the lagoon and play. I think that would be good for you and Sophia, too. (Infants are free on both of these.)

I see some other beach excusrions, but haven't done them ... Family Beach Day at Tiki Beach (only a 10 minute bus ride, infants are free, it gets mixed REVIEWS) and Rum Point Beach Adventure (includes a 15 min mini-bus ride, one hour sailing on a 65-foot catamaran and a 2-1/2 hours of beach time then sailing and bus to get back - because of the sailboat, infants cost the same as kids).

A different option is the Nautilus Undersea Tour semi-submarine. We did it in St Martin when Sabrina was 6. It's sitting mostly still and looking out a window. It depends on the attention span of your kiddo. For Sabrina playing at the beach was better when she was little. (boat = you pay child rate for infants)

When Sophia is a little older, you could check out the Atlantis Submarine Expedition at Grand Cayman (min. age is 4 and 36" height). We did it when Sabrina was 5. It was fine and cool to have been on a submarine. Interesting the world is blue when you get below the sunlight. We have some photos we took inside... good for braggin' rights at kindergarden.

Thank You Lise that was very helpful, I just came back from a cruise last week we didn't take our daughter but I did see little children on excursions and they seemed to enjoy it I hope Sophia will too I am going to look into the Cozumel Beach Break

These Navigators are great. I refused to look at posted Navigators our first few cruises... I didn't want to know [SPOILER ALERT] . Now I kinda want to know what might be different.

Exciting Fact... lots of OPEN HOUSES for Oceaneers Club, Oceaneers Lab, Edge and Vibe. They are open to all... this means DD "nearly 14" Sabrina is thrilled she can check out the 14+ VIBE
