Hi Jaime, You are so good, I know you will get back on track from the food fest. :cheer2: Good idea to try changing up your workouts with the bike or changing the eliptical settings. You can do it and the scale will move again!!! :cheer2:

Do you take a multivitamin? Maybe that would help boost your system too.
 
Hi Jamie! Sorry I've been MIA from your journal. Don't get discouraged, you really are doing a fabulous job!!! I know that we all hit plateaus every now and again...just try to switch up your routine a bit and I am sure you will see a difference!!!

Good Wednesday morning everyone....WOW hump day already. I can't believe it! I have been so busy lately here at work and at home as well. DH is adding performance parts to his motorcycle so we have been working on that after work. I sit down after dinner to post here and then he asks for my help. By the time we get done it is time for bed. So today I had a few minutes here at work and decided that I needed to get this done!

These last few days have been really good. I went grocery shopping on Friday and I got some fruit! I got some banana's, strawberries and apples. I was going to get some pears but they were too expensive...almost $2.00 a pound. So I skipped on that! I have been eating really well and I feel really good too. I am going to weight myself tomorrow and see if there is any change. I have not had a chance to get on the bike so I have not really spiced up my workouts. I did on the elliptical but that was it so far!

I BBQ'ed some chicken this weekend...OMG I loved it. Sunday is when I did it. I only did 2 peices, wanted to make sure that it was going to be okay! I did one with Light itialian dressing and one is lite BBQ sauce! I have to say my fav is the BBQ sauce one! I ate that one for dinner on Sunday and then took the other one for lunch on Monday. I put it in a salad....I know crazy huh! It was pretty good. I didn't really add much to the salad, just the chicken and a few carrots and then I dipped in light itialian dressing. I also made a fruit salad with the few fruits that I had. It was pretty darn good

I won't post everything since the last time I posted, I will start with yesterday!

Tuesday:
B @ 5:15 1/2 cup cereal with 1/2 cup milk
S @ 8:00 1/2 cup ff cottage cheese
L @ 12:00 very small salad and small serving of spaghetti (we had lunch catered in yesterday :) ) fruit salad
S @ 2:30 9 mini rice cakes - these are soo good and I hate rice cakes! 9 is one serving with 70 calories!
D @ 7:00 1 1/2 BBQ hot dog
Water was good...could have been better - 96 oz. I didn't quite make my goal but that is okay!

I'm glad to see you have incorporated more fruit and veggies! Anytime we BBQ chicken, I always have DH make 2-3 extra so I have some for lunches. I just had a salad w/chicken yesterday! It doesn't have to be fancy to be good - just experiment with different Light or FF Dressings and I bet you will learn to love salads.

One of my favorite fruit salads is cantaloupe, watermelon, strawberries and red seedless grapes. Mmm... I also love those mini rice cakes - the caramel corn and kettle corn are yummy!

Wow it sounds like you are doing great with your food! I love to bbq chicken breasts on the weekend and then eat them in salads during the week. Its a great way to get veggies in! And you are eating fruit too, good for you! Good luck with your weigh in tomorrow!

What kind of rice cakes are those? Maybe I need to give those another shot if you can eat that many for 70 calories!

Good Morning,

Whew what a day it was yesterday. I logged in and that was it. Things started flying...and I had to get going. Things really aren't looking all that great for the other supervisor here...she is just not getting it. She sat in our bosses office and argued with him for over 30 minutes, then didn't show up to a meeting because our boss didn't giver her an agenda....Whew. So because of that I was very busy yesterday learning some of her things. I don't think she is going to last much longer. I know that is mean, but it's true. I was given the okay to hire someone else to do some things and when she finds that out next week, she is going to be even more mad. Oh well though!

Well weight in was good...I was down 1 pound. YIPPIE!!!! So maybe I have broken through this....whatever you wanna call it!! I just need to change my sig know. I will do that after I get to journals. I also need to update my exercise challenge totals.

Food has been really good. We went out to lunch yesterday for a going away party...we went to Rock Bottom. Not a whole lot there that I would eat, but I found something. I decided to get the nachos, not the best choice, but they were good. Huge but good. I ended up taking more than half home. I have lunch and dinner for today with those nachos!

Wednesday:
B @ 5:15 1/2 cup cereal with 1/2 cup milk
S @ 8:45 1 cup fruit salad - YUM!
L @ 11:30 HC cheese pizza....last one thank goodness...these are just nasty!
S @ 3:00 9 chedder cheese rice cakes
D @ 6:15 1 1/2 BBQ hotdogs
Water was good again...100 oz!!!

Thursday:
B @ 5:30 1/2 cup cereal with 1/2 cup milk
S @ 8:30 1 cup fruit salad
L @ 12:00 Nachos from Rock Bottom
S skipped - I was still full from lunch!
D @ 6:00 1 grilled cheese sandwich
Water was good again...110 oz.

Not sure what we are going to do over the long weekend. I know that DH wants to go riding, so we will see. It is just hard because we don't want to get stuck in the traffic...that really sucks here.

These things are really good. I bought the chedder cheese ones and the apple cinnamon. I have tried the others and they are all pretty good!

I know all about the traffic woes. It's pretty bad here in the Phoenix area too. Everyone goes up north to get away from the heat and there is basically 1 main highway to get back...

I love Rock Bottom, I used to go the one in Downtown in my pre kid days, that means I haven't been there in about 12 years! Hope you have a great weekend and I also hope things work out okay at work. Good Morning,

First off I want to THANK ALL OF YOU for your support. This last week has been rough all the way around. Eating, working, exercising....what a week. I have been so busy at work that it is crazy!!! I usually leave around 3:30 so I don't have to sit in ruch hour traffic. If I don't leave at that time, I usually don't get out of here until after 6. By then traffic is usually okay, but anytime before that I will sit forever!!! Well needless to say I didn't get out of here on time at all last week, so by the time I got home it was late, I had to feed the furbabies, and DH. Then I didn't want to do a thing!!! I was able to log on a few times last week, but that is as far as it really got!

As I said, last week was tough, we usually didn't eat until late and that is not good. And most of the time it was not good for me. But this is a new week and I am ready for it!!!! I was able to get back on track this weekend though. So that should make things easier this week. Plus I am not staying late this week. I am leaving on time and work can wait until tomorrow. It won't be so bad when the office moves downtown, but that is in a month or so. So we will see!!!

During the holiday weekend, I am surprised that we didn't go anywhere. We had plans to go for a ride in the mountains, but the days that we were going to go it was really windy. The weather people said that it was blowing 20-40 with gusts higher than that. So we decided not to go. Actually we stayed home most of the weekend! We ran some errands on Saturday and then sat home the other two days! Same thing with this last weekend. We were going to ride to Blackhawk, ( it is a gambling town, beautiful ride) but they said that it was suppose to rain, so we didn't go! We ran errands on Saturday and then we went to Wyoming on Sunday. Ya know the fourth of July is coming! We didn't get anything illegal, but the place that we go to has a ton of stuff, legal and illegal and they are cheap. So we go there to get all the fountains and little things that we want! Okay, that I want!

I have been trying to do some research for our upcoming trip like things we want to do the first day we get there and the last full day that we are there. The day we arrive we are not going to any parks, so we don't know what we are going to do. Last year we did the same thing, and we ended up going to DTD for the evening. Our plane arrives around 2pm so I am sure that we will get to the hotel around 3 or so. We will see on that day. Then we have a full day that we are not going into the parks, so we have to decide on what we are going to do. Everyone wanted a rest day.....well everyone but me!!! Oh well....I guess I will live!!! We have not decided on anything just yet. Hopefully soon!!!

Well I am off to other journals. It may take me a while to get caught up since I didn't read for a week! Sorry about that everyone!!!
