:cheer2: Way to go!!! :cheer2:

Happy Monday everyone!!!! Sorry I have yet again been mia! Just when I think things are going to slow down, I am so totally wrong. I know that the next couple of days are going to be hectic but I will try very hard to get caught up on everyone's journals.

So I have been doing pretty well. I am back to exercising every day again. I think all my issues are done and gone for now! I sure hope so at least! That thing with my hip was no fun. I have no idea what the heck that was all about!

We ordered Maggiano's here last week and I didn't go totally crazy! We had enough for leftovers as welll. I am not a huge left over fan, but it was good. I think that I did very well. I had two pieces of bread, and I knew that I should not have had it, but it was so good I could not help my self!

DH and I went out to eat on Friday, something that we have not done in a while. We went to Sonic and I got a chicken sandwich and some cheese fries....while I was hoping that it would be so good, it was alright. We have not eaten at Sonic in a while and I think that is why it was not the greatest. Plus we are not used to all that crap! At least I didn't get sick....that is all that matters!

I have been getting my water in like I have wanted. That is always nice! Once again, I feel great. I noticed that when I cut back on the water, I was not feeling as good. And now that I am drinking more like I was before, I feel great!!!!!

Well I better get back to work. I will try and get caught up within a day or so. Please know that I am thinking of each of you and WISHing you all a great day!

You're doing a great job! I love Sonic and after seeing your post I had to stop and think back to when the last time we went was (well except for my strawberry diet cokes) and it's been a long time. Hmmm might need that for my free day soon. :)

I know exactly what you mean about water. It's tougher for me on the weekends to get my water in because at work my coworker and I chug water all day and on the weekends I'm a lot more sluggish.

Hope you get some relaxation time for you in the midst of the hectic.

Great job getting all your water in! I'm sorry your Sonic splurge wasn't as wonderful as you were hoping, but maybe that means your bosy is craving healthier options now!

You are doing awesome, you are almost to the halfway point of your goal! :cheer2:

Hi, Jamie! You are doing so great! Congratulations on being so aware of what your body wants/needs. Guess Sonic wasn't it, right? I know what that is like!

Don't work so hard and take good care of yourself! Keep up the great work! :cheer2:

HI everyone. Thanks for the support even though I have been MIA lately.

Things at work have been so busy. We are changing fiscal year ends at the end of the year so we are getting ready to do year end stuff again. Plus I am still down one person, so that makes it hard. I have had several interviews and I think I am ready to make an offer on Monday. I interviewed a person Friday that was deaf. WOW that was the hardest interview that I have ever had.

I logged on earlier this week to journal and tell the good news and well that didn't happen. I got too busy and didn't get a chance. I have a new clippie....finally made it to 25 pounds. I was so happy!!!!! I even told my husband and he was pretty happy. Or at least he acted happy. Not sure if he really knows how much this means to me or not. I never in my life thought that I would see 25 pounds off this body. That just gives me more motivation to keep going. This morning DH said as I was eating me cereal, that he was going to go get McDonalds, and I was not even tempted! YAY for me

I have been getting my exercise in and that is great. I didn't work out yesterday, TOM is here and I woke up with the worst headache. I usually get migranes when TOM is here. So I took yesterday off. I will see how my head feels today and I hope to get some work out in. I did get my walk in yesterday. I walk 30 minutes round trip to the bus stop and I usually do a brisk pace. So I did do that. I have been doing really well with water. I have been exceeding my goal. Not by a ton, but at least I am making it!!!!

Not much going on this weekend. I am going to rest. I have been working like crazy and I need to rest.

One of the girls that my DH grew up with, she is like a sister to him, is coming to Denver Monday, and I am so not ready for this. I have never met her and I was really hoping that I would be a little less heavy, but that is okay I guess. She and her family are moving to Denver from Texas in Jan. so I hope that by Jan I will be slimmer! We will see.

Well I better get up and start my day. Thanks again everyone for your support and encouragement. It seems the world to me.

Have a wonderful weekend!!!!

Yay for you!!! Congrats on getting to 25lbs! You worked so hard for that! :cool1:

It also sounds like you've been doing a lot of other good things for yourself. Keep up the great work and hang in there for year-end. It is a mess, but it will all be over in a couple of months.

Have a great weekend! :sunny:

Hello,

Wow things have been so crazy. I finally have a day off from work today. That is nice. But ya know, even though I am home today, I am still checking email and such. I just can't get away! I have sick days that I have to use beofre the end of the year and my manager told us that if we want to be sick, just let her know. So I decided that I was going to be sick today!

Well we didn't end up meeting with my DH friend. She was only here with her DH and kids for three days and she was busy all three days. They are moving here so they were trying to check out good area's and houses. I was a little bummed as I really wanted to meet her,but they will be here in Jan so I will meet her then. By then I want to be even thinner. I just have to keep working at it!

I have been doing really well this last week. I was so wanted to get into the candy dish while working, but it is a good thing that I would have to get up from my desk and walk over there. I don't have time to do that. So candy has been out. I have been doing really well on water and such. I am meeting my goal everyday. That is good! I am going to go out to lunch today with an old friend that I have not seen in a while. We are going for Mexican. My all time favorite. I know that I can't eat everything in sight, but I am going to splurge a little. I am going to have some chips and salsa, but not overdo it like I used to.

Thanksgiving is coming and I am getting worried how the heck I am going to do this. I love Thanksgiving and all. I know I can make it work, at least that is what I am telling myself.Iam just going to continue to get in all my exercise and water and watch what I eat. I should be okay.

I need to weigh myself today. I had to get out of the house early yesterday and didn't have a chance to do it . So I will do that before I shower.

I heard on the radio yesterday that Meryvns is closing their stores and that everything is 50-100% off so I am thinking of going over there today. I really need some new clothes. I was hioping I might be able to find some stuff cheap. I don't want to spend a ton of money since I won't be in these clothes a lot. Or at least that is the plan!

Well Iam going to get my day started. I will get to journals this afternoon or tomorrow. Hope everyone is well.

Keep up the good work and thanks for the kind words of encouragement

100% off, that's like free?! Heh, I hadn't heard that about Mervyn's (not one of my faves, though), I wonder if that's just the stores in CO?

Actually, I think Mexican food can be one of the healthier 'ethnic' foods as long as you avoid sour cream, limit cheese, etc. My favorite is Chicken Fajitas with corn tortillas and guacamole. You just need a little bit and it really fills you up. Yummy have a great day off!

Good job on keeping up with the water! That is a very important one and it feels so good when you do it.

I wish I could just "be sick" without being sick you know!!!! LOL Have a good day off and hopefully you'll find some cheap stuff!!!!

Have a good weekend
Keep on
Chris

I am envious you get a day off! Have fun at the Mexican place. There are healthy choices to be had. And if you feel like splurging, go for it! I bet you find you can't eat as much as you used to, so it won't be as bad as you think.

As for Thanksgiving, that is going to be tough! Are you having it at your house where you can control what foods are available? Just concentrate mostly on veggies and turkey with everything else in moderation and you'll do fine.

Good for you for making all your goals, that's really a big accomplishment!!

I hope you enjoyed your Mexican food. Mmmmmm.
