I would like to know the pros and cons of the GV's at Kidani and Jambo.
Thanks.

The GVs in Jambo House are one floor and include a pool table. Only 6 available and they are approx. 150 sq feet larger than the ones in Kidani Village.

The GVs in Kidani Village are two floors (no pool table). 16 available.

Stated occupancy is the same at 12 for all AKV GVs.

I consider both to be two of the best. The Jambo GVs are all single story, with large rooms, including a room with a pool table. The master bathrooms huge and borders on the hedonistic with its TV to be watched from the large tub. Possibly its best characteristic is its huge covered balconies, the best balconies of all rooms at any WDW resorts.

The Kidani GVs are all two-story. They downstairs is on the fourth floor of the building and second floor is on the fifth (top) floor the building. Multiple balconies but not huge like Jambo. It is best designed 2-story GV on site. The laundry room and a bathroom are just inside the main entrance door. The combined living room, dining room and kitchen Aris large and the living room gives a "great" room effect and for the living room portion the ceiling is the top of the second floor and has floor-to-ceiling windows for viewing. The master bath for the master bedroom is large. and the second and third bedrooms are at the opposite ends of the hall on the second floor with a bathroom near each. Right at the top of the stairs is a good-sized alcove where there is queen pull-out, table, TV, and dresser, basically adding a sleeping area that no other GV has. Max occupancy is still 12 but that area gives you an extra sleeping area when putting four of your group in an upstairs bedroom is not desirable.

There are two standard GVs at Kidani for lower points. Internally they are the same as the other GVs and actually have a savanna view -- they look over the Pembe Savanna, which is fairly narrow in that area, and are the only two GVs on that savanna. All the others GVs at Kidani overlook Sunset savanna, and have excellent views.

I’ve stayed in both. While usually I’m a fan of the two story GV, especially at a place like AKV (it fits the theming imo), I think the single story at Jambo is superior.
It’s truly huge and amazing. Don’t get me started on the porches.
I think an ECV would need to stop half way across to charge the battery however.

It is my goal to stay at each! :) It was our plan to hit both next year, but it's looking more and more likely that at least one of those trips will be cancelled. Ideally postponed to 2022, but we'll see.

Do you think when refurb time comes along that they might turn the pool table room into a media room / secret extra bedroom like at VGF?

Not a fan of the 2 stories GV. we loved the Jambo GV. Lots of room and 3 big balconies on 1 floor

I believe that BLT also has sleeping surfaces for 14 also. I believe they have a full sized sleeper sofa on the second floor also. But all GV’s have a max of 12 people.
It looks like VGC has sleeping surfaces for 18. Looks like it has a queen sleeper sofa and 2 full sleeper sofas. Looks like the queen and a full in the living room and a full upstairs.
I agree that this gives more options for people to sleep in separate beds.

Hear With The Ears on YouTube does a great job with walkthroughs on Disney rooms/villas. I know they have both the Kidani & Jambo 3 bedroom (I’ve watched them).
They have videos of every single room type on property except the presidential suite-type rooms, because they actually lived at the resort for all of 2019!
