OMG ~~ 2 days left!!!!!!! Can you believe it!!! I think I've got everything done.............. except for a few things I have to do tom. Did you have your mail stopped?? I did that yesterday, you can do it online also if you need too. I feel like I've got tons to do......... I guess it's just excitement!!! DS is bouncing off the walls.......... he was so excited this morning, he was going to tell his class only 2 days......... I feel for his teacher tomorrow!!!! LOL Did you tell me you mailed the arrival purses?? Did they get there or do you know yet? I just know your mom and sis will LOVE them!!! Well, go get those flowers ordered!!!! I'm gonna start getting some things packed that I won't need tomorrow!!! OH NO, I just remembered, we need to make a couple more mousekeeping envelopes!!! Wendy I think I need your DS's energy! I haven't a got a single thing packed yet I have today off but spent the am at my grandma's and I'm going to get my hair done in an hour. Then off to the mall to pick up a few things.

Ok the purses I sent UPS on Friday, but the tracking number I have shows no progress on the bags So after I get my hair done I'm calling the UPS Store to see what is up. They are supposed to arrive at the lodge tomorrow!!!!

Oh and then the flowers tried to order last night and they wanted to charge me twice for delivery so I sent an e-mail, but haven't heard back yet.

So much to do so little time.

did you see that a space shuttle might go off while we are there? I think that would be so cool to see and I guess you can see them from WDW property!!

Last night I made our reservations for the Segway Tours of Epcot!

Has anyone here done the Segway tour?

I had the nicest CM on the phone, she congratulated Joe (my fiance) and I about 5 times.

We did the Segway tour earlier this year, it was great! I was a bit nervous about it and it is a bit harder than it looks, but lots of fun and the instructors are great, very patient! You do about an hour of training and then get to tour the World. I wrote an article about it for the passporter newsletter a few weeks ago so if you would like more detail check it out: http://www.passporter.com/news/news072706.htm

I have just been directed to this thread by one of my UK friends, I can't wait for my first trip to the AKL!!

I have been lurking around here for a couple of weeks as we recently upgraded from POR to AKL thanks to the magic of the Disney Visa code!!

I am back at the begining of the thread, and I promise to finish it (there isn't a test is there? ). I have learned so much about this place so far- never even heard of a zebra dome until I read this thread (uh-oh- am I kicked out of the club now?)

Anyway, thanks for all the info you have provided so far and have a great trip Scoutsmom and Wendypooh!! Kimmar, as soon as I make my way through the rest of this Wild thread, I will head over to check out the much discussed trip report!!

I was hooked on Akl after eating at Boma and Jiko last year. I took a stroll adound the hotel and really thought it was great! This year i am staying there
for my september trip! Look just 10 more days!

One quick question I have for all you AKL veterans! Are the doors to the rooms magnetic? I would love to do a door sign. We went on a Disney Cruise two years ago and I did a sign. Not only was it fun to look at, but it really helped DD & DS locate our room quick.

hi and good day to all, seen somebody post about the refillable mugs earlier and it brings a question to mind,will i be able to fill the mug up in the middle of the night as i am a late owl sometimes or will i only be able to do this during normal hours?, other than that hope all is good for everybody, and have a great trip wendypooh and scoutsmom

to the Jambo thread Kristin! I think the only test might be to see how many zebra domes you can eat once you arrive at AKL

It will just be during the hours that the Mara is open...which I believe is 11:00pm or 11:30pm. Your ticker is coming along nicely
