I will be there July 28-31 AKV Jambo Club level then AKV Jambo July 31-August 4th. November 7-10, 2019 Kidani and June 28th-July 4th 2020 AKV Jambo.

Based on what I observed during my mid-May stay, plus conversations with several CMs, I believe Kudu construction will likely last another couple months. This is a major refurbishment which is expected to last into early 2020.
 
I just upgraded my room for my solo trip (next week!) to AKL for 6/9-6/13! I've always wanted to stay at AKL and I'm sooooo excited :D, now I just need to learn everything I need to know in 6 days lol

We came in the room to find a gorgeous flower display from the front desk as well as a fridge fully stocked with drinks and a note to call when we need it filled. Then tonight a cast member knocked on the door with this beautiful wood piece covered in chocolates and treats. We asked her who this was all coming from and she said as thanks from the front desk???? What the heck?

Love our villa on Kudu Trail and the view!!

I couldn’t find this anywhere but is there a place either at AKL or Kidani to shower off after you’ve checked out?
We have a late flight and wanted to do the resort for that day but also wanted to not be sweaty and sunblocky the whole flight home.
Thanks in advance!

Both pools have shower facilities :thumbsup2 the restroom facilities by the Jambo House pool are near the lockers and the wading pool (near the Mara and Simba’s) and they are HUGE! The Kidani pool also has nice showers in the building with the little fitness center but they are also high quality and I’ve not seen them busy ever.
 
We got here yesterday for just one night. A little sad it wasn't longer because we had a blast just enjoying and exploring the resort. We move to WL today, which will still be great.

I will share more pics later...as an FYI, the front half of Kudu Trail, closest to the lobby, appears to be in refurbishment stage. We are on Ostrich Trail, savannah side, and can see them working across the way.
