Just added an extra day to our Aug 1-12 Jambo savanna trip so we now leave on the 13th and can do MNSSHP on the 12th! I paid for our entire family of 9 (7 staying offsite) to go to the party and it’s going to be a surprise for everyone. I’ve spent way too much on this vacation already and it’s still 2 weeks away!

Hi! Was wondering if there is anyone at AKL now or has stayed there recently who could tell me if the bar inside Jiko is open when the restaurant is open? Whenever I check in the app, it always says no hours available, even on the days Jiko is open (I know it is currently closed on Tuesday and Wednesday). Would like to sit at the bar and have a glass of wine one evening, but I'm not staying at AKL and don't want to make the trek over if the bar isn't open. Thanks!

Just booked for December 2023 this morning, staying December 4-7! Since my dad is visiting for the first time in a decade we splurged and got a two bedroom suite. This will be our first time staying club level as well so can't wait to finally check it out. So excited for this, we haven't stayed at AKL since the year it opened!

Will be doing a long weekend at Jambo early August, and a week at Kidiani in early December. Excited to be going back to this resort for the 1st time in 5 years.

We are currently here in a one bedroom villa in Kidani. Absolutely my best time in WDW hotel. The size of these rooms is fantastic. At first I was disappointed because the room was so far from the area we requested, but I think we lucked out, because animals have been hanging out right outside our room day and night for the last 3 days. We stayed once before in a regular hotel room and did not have this good of animal viewing.
We have seen all of the animals and all of their fun animal antics.
I really love this room, even with the walking distance.
It will be really hard to ever get me to stay someone else. I just love this hotel.

Recommend it to all, especially the villas.
