I just changed ours- have tix to a concert that was rescheduled to 6/13 and our reservation was 6/14. I modified to 6/16-6/20 for $6 more overall. However I may have a work trip rescheduled to the 16-18, so...
It’s all up in the air anyway but I tried!

Side note... we already got our magic bands. Will they be useless if the trip is canceled or will they roll over to another trip...?

They should carry over, since they are linked to your MDE. You can even use previous magic bands on a future trip if you want as long as they are still active in MDE.

The batteries in them are supposedly active for about two years, possibly longer.

Sadly, we are canceling our trip for April. Please remove me from the guest list. The dates were 4/24 and 25th.

Thinking about going in Sept. if my Disney math is correct. I could stay in a cheaper room in Sept and then try again for next April. Has anyone stayed in a pool view room. What did you like about it.

I’d love to add a night or two since I ended up with several extra points - but that’s all that was showing as available which fit into our schedules when I modified the reservation.

I have stayed in a pool view room several times and really liked it. Very close to Mara and...to the pool
Btw I was supposed to arrive at AKL on 24th of April as well and I am now looking into traveling in September...or December..

Hi ! Can anyone tell me if there are any connecting standard or pool view rooms? Just the regular hotel rooms with 2 queen beds, not the dvc type studios or 1/2 bedrooms. Thanks

Staying in a Savannah view Studio at Kidani December 13-18. Can’t wait!! First time staying there. will be with my sister and niece.
My only concern is the sleeper sofa. LOL

I'm not sure if this will work for you or not, but what I've heard is, even if you had a DVC resv. during this time period until 5/31 you can rebook at a later date . The drawback is that it has to be a cash resv. So what I'm thinking is, you can keep your DVC resv. and then add 2 days or so right afterwards. You also do need to have a 2 day base ticket..HTH.
EDIT: just realized you leave on 10/4, so I don't think that'l work. Possibly 2 days prior to your DVC trip.
