Jambo house Studio sofa bed

Does anyone know if the mattress on the pull-out sofa in the Jambo House DVC villas studio is removable from the sofa frame? The reason I am asking is because I am thinking for someone with a bad back it might be more comfortable to sleep on the mattress on the floor as opposed to the sofa. Strange question, I know. Anybody have any experience with this?

That sleeper sofa is a platform type with a three section foam pad on the platform. It is not removable. It doesn't sag since it on the platform.
