Does anyone know if the DVC Villa 1 bedroom club level have a washer and dryer and full kitchen?

Yes, all DVC 1BRs have a w/d and kitchen, and that includes all the 1BRs at AKV, including the club levels and even the values.

You must be looking at the one bedroom suite, not the one bedroom villa. Or you might be looking at studio photo. The one bedroom villas all have a full kitchen.

Thank you for answering this. How are the views from the club level villas? Animal kingdom is my home resort. I have yet to stay at the club level.

AKV-J has the only CL villas on the 6th floor of the building. They are not known for their views, which are mainly roofline from what I have read.

All DVC 1, 2, and 3 bedrooms have full kitchens and laundry. AKV CL has the worse views, IMO that is why they were given to DVC. Your view will either be of the building roof with pool beyond through some trees or of a savanna dead end with very poor animal activity.

We had one of the "roof and savannah in the distance " views in March, and it was better than I had feared. I sat out on the balcony a few times, saw animals. We had a 1 bedroom and yes, there was a full kitchen.

We enjoy AKV CL, but it is not easy to book!

Back in the old days before DVC was at Jambo House, the sixth floor rooms were the smoking rooms. Far enough away from the animals to bother them. And fewer guests to be bothered.

How are the views from the club level villas?

The savanna-facing CL rooms are over an alcove of the Sunset Savanna. Animals are drawn in by the food put in that area by the CMs but they may not stay in that area long. You can't see into the rest of the savanna from that alcove. You can't even see the entire alcove that well because being on the 6th floor puts you above the tree tops and they block some of the view.

If you want the Club Level amenities, then by all means try to book a CL room. I think everyone should experience it at least once. But if you want the best views of the animals, book a Savanna View room, preferably at Kidani where you may luck out and get a room on a low floor, and buy your own snacks and drinks.

One other thing to know is that of the five 2BR lockoffs in Club Level, one of the 1BRs is an HA room with a roll-in shower and no tub. It's one of the three 1BRs on the savanna side. Those rooms are nearly always 100% booked so somebody is going to end up in the 1BR that doesn't have a tub.
