Seriously, Capt. Grille looks great and even better that the server checked your schedule! I'll have to keep that one in mind as DH is suddenly very interested in the Epcot resorts after staying at the Swan!

I promised a second post this weekend and I`m even missing the Vancouver - LA game to get it done Well...it`s on and I am listening intently ready to jump up at any moment!

This day would take us to Epcot and we had every intention of spending most of it in WS wandering around and maybe stopping for a bevie ot 2!

First order of business...what can we buy! MouseGears is my favorite store within the parks to do any kind of shopping at so it is a must do for us!

Love the hats! Man, what I would have given for a princess hat when I was a kid!

Jeff pretending he is Jessica Simpson....oh he keeps us in stitches that boy!

Virtually no crowds again on this day....I have to say we really lucked in throughout the entire trip with that!

This cracks me up...and we were walking to make our way to The Land, MM was in front of me and I told her to stop and smell the roses because she was just motoring to get to Soarin ....well she did exactly what I told her and I was quick enough to capture it! Love that she does everything her auntie tells her to do

I almost fell over when I heard someone yelling and carrying on....look who it was! He was telling Jeff that his muscles were bigger and that Jasmine would probably want to leave with him....it was priceless!

What was really bad was she said when we walked in "hello my Canadian friends, I'm so happy you have come again"....yup, third visit of the trip! What can I say...we love it here!

The kids finished their mission, got rained on and came to collect us to head back to the resort! Another great time in the World.

All of those World Showcase pictures make me so excited to go to Epcot so soon! I feel like every time I find something new in WS which is a big part of the fun. I really like shopping in MouseGears also, now im thinking of all the things I want to buy while in disney, im gonna go broke! haha

Sheesh! I go away for a week and what happens? Three posts! I'm just gonna dive right in here...

We had been looking forward to this day for months....we were having an extra special Dis-meet on this day with some of our favorite Dis-friends! It's so funny as you plan these things and it feels like you've know them for years but realize "yup, we've never met". We couldn't get out the door fast enough!

Isn't that the truth. When I met you at our Winnipeg meet, I felt the same.

Before I get on with our day tho, I forgot to mention that Jasmine had been contemplating getting a henna tattoo in Morocco the entire trip so before we went into dinner she stopped and got one....I thought it was so pretty! Now she wants a real one on her foot! I have always wanted a foot tattoo so maybe in a few years we'll go together

I like that! The tattoo and the mother daughter idea. DW years back was thinking of getting a small pear done on her ankle. I told her, "Oh, yes. A raisin on your ankle would look nice." She replied, "Not a raisin, I said a 'pear'." To which I responded, "Oh, sure. It'll be a pear for now, but when you're eighty, it'll look like a raisin; so I'm just planning ahead."

Oddly enough, she never got it.

I ordered the macadamia nut pancakes! I had always thought I would try the tonga toast but I couldn't help but think what if I don't like it! So I went with a sure thing!

Tonga toast is on my list. Can't believe you passed it up! Next time order it and if you don't like it after the first bite, send it back and get get something else, okay?

Jeff got the Big Kahuna....I know, you're all shocked!

On our way over we stopped for Jeff to see if he had aquired a taste for The Beverly....apparently not

How on earth did you get him to drink it???

Dale (Dawn's hubby) told me that the jalapeno margarita was delicious so I decided to give it a try! I realize now tho that I look far too happy in this picture! I have to say that drink was one of the best I have ever had! It was different but not completely out there! Loved it!

I remember reading that from their TR. I'm not a fan of jalapenos though. Is it really noticeable? Or quite different? Maybe I should just take my own advice and order one!

From The Ditch we wandered around WS landing in Germany (who can pass up the Karamel Kuche? Not us!!!

I'm not sure if anyone could.

Proof of how tired Jeff was.....out like a light on the boat! We decided, once again, to take the boat to the Studios and grab our bus from there!

Glad to see that the "thumbs-up" job was carried on in his absence.

I ordered the clam chowder for an appetizer and shared it with the kids! Jasmine loves clam chowder so I believe she ate most of it

Good thing I wasn't there 'cause she'd have a fight on her hands. Clam chowder... mmmmm......

a pork chop on top of corn polenta....words cannot describe how flavourful this was! I would go back in a heartbeat to have this!

It really does look good! Except now my flatscreen has scratches on it from my knife and fork. Oh well...

We havn't been yet but I have an ADR booked for August.

You mentioned the TiW card. I am contemplating getting one in May.
When do they expire? End of the calendar year or 1 yr from the time you purchase it?

Paying OOP is new to us as we always have Free Dining.

Absolutely love it there, probably one of the best shops in Disney LOL @ Jeff's Jessica Simpson impersonation all you needed were the short shorts, boots and it would be spot-on but I'd rather that didn't happen as I'm sure you'd agree

to the mid-morning snack, always a plus! (; And I love that shirt, totally fits you. Can't wait to see the one you actually got Great picture of France, such a lovely pavilion (and country I'm sure)! I can't believe you guys got to meet Gaston! So jealous, he is NEVER out, such a rare find there. Again, lovely pictures around World Showcase. As a whole I think that it is the most photogenic section of a park (though Cinderella's Castle is the most photogenic landmark out of all the parks in my opinion) with so much to photograph and so many beautiful photographs already taken. Anyways... to the Kim Possible Mission, so mad I missed that on my last two trips And that's so funny how the CMs over at the Ditch recognize you guys! Someday I hope Disney CMs could recognize me like that

I've been absent from the boards for too long! I heard "Canda....my Canada" in the car today (Yes, it was my playlist...) and waited to pop over to say hi to my friend!

Thank you for the lovely walk in Epcot. I am so excited to get back. I just want to sit in the parks. I want to try to absorb the memories like Frederick the mouse. (do you know that story by Leo Lionni? - Frederick stored the memories for the other mice!)

You must be bouncing as your trip is sooo soon!

Did Jasmine hear the news? In June they are putting Starbucks in Disneyland; they've signed on to put them in the 4 parks at the world too, but no date as of yet.

France is one of my favorite pavillions to visit, it's so quaint and lovely! I told Jeff what you said about Gaston's muscles and he wishes he thought of that! No, Jasmine can smell a player a mile away

Another week has passed and April is almost over! I have exactly 3 weeks today until we leave so I better get this TR wrapped up! It will be a couple more posts and it will be on to the new one!

I wanted to start this post of with a story! I started reading and posting on these boards in 2008 and have been addicted since! The other night there, I thought I should go through all of our past pictures on the computer and get rid of some that didn`t turn out or overall weren`t great! I went thru 2008 and started on 2009! As I was going through them I was stopped dead in my tracks! I have a picture from Test Track that I took while we were waiting in line! I turned around and was taking a picture behind me. Well guess what...turns out I captured a future friend and her DBF in line behind us. I looked and looked at the picture, then showed Jasmine, and yup we were positive it was Kylie and Zach! Kylie and I started following each others trip reports a couple of years ago and we are also FB friends so to think that 3 years ago, when we didnt know each other at all, they were right behind us in lineSo glad I took this shot of the queue! I sent her a PM thru FB and sure enough, yes, they were there at the same time as us in August 2009! Fate meant for us to be friends so look thru your old pictures and see who you can see...you never know! Here is the picture.....

Thanks for letting me share that! I knew you would all appreciate what a small Dis world it really is! This post now brings us to our DTD evening with dinner at WPC! I had looked forward to this dinner the entire trip as it's one of my favorite restaurants to visit when we're there!

We went to the bus stop and true to form of our entire trip, the bus was waiting for us! Unfortunately, right about the time that I took this picture, I started feeling quite unwell. Like, horrible unwell. I think it was low blood sugar and knew I had to eat and quick! The only bad part was, the thought of eating made me feel worse!

The good part was that our table was ready and they seated us right away! Here is SW, Jeff and Jas coloring and waiting for dinner!

MM, me, Geodoc and Peg....good lord, I felt awful!

I choose to have the butternut squash soup which is my favorite and it did the trick! I felt much better after I ate it

I think all of the kids ordered the pizza and they all loved it! They do make delicious pizzas!

After my soup I decided I should probably have more than just soup so I got the caesar salad....I think I ate less than half, but it was delicious!

Lava cake...this is hand downs Jasmine`s favorite dessert on property....she says she dreams about it! Do you think now`s a good time to tell her I don`t have an ADR for here in May

Carrot Cake...I dream of this dessert! Because of the way I was feeling I didn`t order dessert but Peg seemed less than impressed with it. She said it was dry so I had to try it. Yup, it tasted nothing like the little piece of heaven I had here the summer before ... probably just an off night

I believe this was Snickers cheesecake....I know whatever it was I couldn`t try it because it contained peanuts...Geodoc had it!

I was exhausted after dinner and still not feeling a 100% so my plan was to head back to the resort and get an early night (well, early for us) but the whole gang decided we would be having a very long day the next day so we should all head back. Someone was very tired and of course Jeff cannot say no to this little princess so she got a ride back to the room!
