OK, now that the place is open... (we'll hopefully be there in a few days)

Is the Jambo House lobby open? Can people at least hang out if they wear masks and social distance?
Looks like it but of course gatherings are discouraged, saw a few videos with how quite it is and a CM was cleaning a chair in the background so I assume its allowed.

How about in the Kidani lobby?
Same

Are both Kidani & Jambo pools open? How are the numbers of people in the pool(s)?
Yes, both are open and no one has reported being turned away.

Is there an inner shuttle running between Kidani <--> Jambo?
Yes.

I called a few hours ago and spoke with a DVC CM who called Jambo directly for me to ask about pools and if we could get a quick service at Kidani, the answer was yes to both. Sanaa is doing quick service breakfast, we need some Mickey Waffles. I also asked if we could resort hop to eat at a quick service without a reservation and the answer was also yes. We will only be there for a few days and having quick service options will make the most of our time. 3 more days !!!

I hope that stands because it's quite unfortunate that there are absolutely no food options in Jambo House currently.

Me too, we have lots of food allergies so trying to navigate even less food options seems to be the only bump we may have in this quickie trip. That said, I'm packing a bunch of snacks to keep us going.

Glad to hear both Pools are open! Probably no problem finding a chair during these times!

I’m planning on bringing my AppleTV connected with HDMI. Can confirm these will work in the DVC studios? With such limited hours, we’ll need some entertainment, I’m sure! Although the Savannah may be entertaining enough!

Any rumors on if The Mara will open in August ?!!

Not sure how accurate this is for today, since it was last updated in February of 2019. Do any Kidani visitors know how accurate the list is?

We don’t trust it right now, especially with the volume that might be going through there with no real QS. We are ordering Amazon Fresh and Instacart to be delivered to Bell Services.

For quick service breakfast you run over to Kidani, go to Sanaa, order your food from the cashier bar (which is closed, at least for breakfast), and then they bring you your breakfast to your table. Typical Mickey Waffles, Eggs Benedict, Scrambled Eggs, bacon, etc,

We don’t eat breakfast so I’m more concerned about dinner, especially after reading how there’s a long wait to get Sanaa to go that late. It’s also inconvenient to only have that one place open for dinner options for an entire week.

Plus menus are limited right now. I wouldn't be able to eat at Sanaa more than a couple of times during our trip.

The villas were not part of the renovations, only the hotel side. The hotel side was completed.
