Jambo 1B Standard, what room to request?

We've had to make a tough call and give up a 2 bedroom savanna view at Kidani, for a 1 bedroom standard at Jambo. We chose Jambo instead of Kidani as, despite the loss of the extra bathroom, we'd at least be guaranteed not to have a view of the parking lot.

As I understand it, we'll either get a pool view, or a reclassified savanna view and wondering what I should request, if anything.

we got lucky and were given one of the reclassified rooms so it was a nice view but a long walk down the hallways. Room# 5544. Not sure if they let you request that view though since at check in when the girl showed me our room location I saw it wasn't pool view as expected so I asked if we would be able to see animals from our room and she wouldn't confirm or deny it. Not sure if that's typical. Pretty sure the pool view rooms aren't as far of a walk. So if that's important it's something to keep in mind.

No, the walk isn't an issue either way, sounds like some of the reclassified rooms are great, some not so much so not sure if I should just leave it to chance or actually request pool view to be safe.

I hear ya. If we ever stay jambo standard again, and I'm sure we will, we will definitely leave it to chance. Can't go wrong as I see it!

I was going to ask the same thing. I'm doing a split stay at Jambo in Dec, first half of trip is in one bedroom standard and other half is savanah view studio.
I'm celebrating my 30th birthday and want everything to be as awesome as possible.
I will be keeping an eye in this thread for suggestions
