Jamaica - Amazing Race

Has anyone been on the Amazing Race excursion in Jamaica? We are considering this for our June cruise. Would love some reviews. It will be myself, DH, and 17 yr old DS.

MY DS(20) and his GF did this. They said it was fun but disappionting. Really not as describe. Not evryone does the zip line only 1 person does the kayak. On theirs since they were pressed for time the tour skip the refreshments at the end.
They like the things they did but it wasn't worth the money. In fact my wife went to shore excurisons and told them how the write up didn't reflect the tour and they need to fix the write up. DCL actually refunded the money to my account. Which we didn't ask for.
I have not look at the write up since our cruise not sure how or if been revised.

Just read the write up and it was changed. But on these they skip the lunch cause they were behind . But they were back at ship 4 hours before departure.
$179 per person in alot for what you get.

It's only $89 pp if you book on your own, not sure how many they run?

for $89 i would say it is worth it
if you book on your won do they pick you at up at the ship it was long ride to the place

I wondered that, but I don't see any tour that is described as an Amazing Race type of tour. I see a tour that offers tubing, ziplining, and kayaking, but I kind of liked the idea of solving the puzzles and being competitive too. I've tried contacting the company directly, but so far no response.

It amazes me that Disney even offers an Amazing Race excursion, given that Amazing Race is a CBS property and Disney owns ABC, but I agree that the puzzle aspect would be the most fun portion of the trip.

I suppose they could rename it "Incredible Competition"...

I love TAR - I'd probably stink if I were actually cast on TAR Canada but it's a lot of fun to watch.

I finally got to talk to one of their reps. She told me that they don't offer anything like the Amazing Race excursion so I'm not sure who else it could be.
