I am set for a solo trip September 6-9, arriving mid afternoon on the 6th and departing early on the 9th.

I have only visited WDW once, for one day, which was spent at MK. My plan for this trip was to do a full day at MK on the 7th then visit MK again on the 8th for MNSSHP. Pool time and Disney Springs in between park time.

I have fallen into some luck that will allow me to get a great deal on a 4-day park hopper. In order to see and do as much as possible in each park, I thought I could utilize EMH.

9/6 Epcot EMH soon as possible after arriving at the resort
9/7 DHS rope drop 1st part of the day. MK EMH that evening
9/8 AK rope drop 1st part of the day. MK for MNSSHP
9/9 Depart

Since I have the opportunity, I'd really love to see at least a little of each park. Especially since all besides MK are new to me. Is this a realistic idea?

This is definitely realistic! I always park hop on my trips, tending to do one park in the morning and a different one at night. You'll also get around faster since you won't be with a group.

Yep, I do it every trip and especially on my solo trips. Having PHs make it really easy since you really can decide on the spur of the moment what you want to do when. I've been known to hop to 3 parks in a day, not on purpose just went to AK at rope drop (that wasn't on purpose either, I was up so I thought why not) left there around 11:30 or so and went to HS, stayed there until around 6 or so and went to Epcot to finish up. None of it in a hurry and with no FPs in hand. I did Safari at rope drop, then went to EE, after that I did both of the trails, wandered around Asia and Africa just looking around and left, I grabbed something to eat at HS (can't remember what) rode GMR, ToT and saw Indiana Jones (I don't do Star Tours because it makes me sick, don't do Rock N Roll Roller Coaster - it hurts my neck) I just wasn't in the mood that day for Toy Story, I wandered around the back lot for a while just looking stopped at the Writer's Stop and got a cookie, went to Walt's Museum and looked around then walked over to Epcot. It was F&W so I grabbed something to eat from a booth and wandered around, grabbed something from the next booth I ended up at after eating what I had, rinse and repeat. I wandered in an out of shops in WS but didn't ride any rides. I never spend a full day at MK, as a matter of fact my trip this Sept. will most likely only be until around 11 since BTMR and Swiss Family Treehouse will be closed. I'll probably hit Haunted Mansion, POTC, Jungle Cruise and maybe SDMT, COP and People Mover, walk around Main Street and leave. It is during party season and I have an AP so I'm not paying for a party, maybe I'll get back over on a night it's open for FWs, maybe not.

Great! I was worried it might be too much. I'm excited about the opportunity to see so much!

I think you're fine with your plan and you are utilizing your park hopping and extra magic hours well. Make sure you make your fastpass plus reservations before you land; be ready. U can do it 60 days out. Do the same if you are doing table service meals. Take a nap on the plane, if possible. Not sure if you have a time difference with time zones, but jet lag can get you. Infact, have your luggage ready way ahead of time and relax and get in more zzzzzs before the trip.

Be flexible. If there is long wait time on a ride you may want to opt out. You may give up that long wait on one ride and accomplish 3 other rides in the same time period. Take in more shows if the ride lines are nuts. It's easier to get into a show.

Don't get too concerned about not achieving everything on your list. You will still have fun.

this is very doable you might be tired but you can sleep when you get home.

you can get so much done in the first 60 to 90 minutes the park is opened ( and with EMH it is even more) so I would park hope around 12 and have your FP starting at 1 for your second park this is normally the busiest part of the day when it comes to lines and after you use your first 3 you can get 1 more and so on.

and if you do get tired it is ok to rest you even might want to head back to your hotel on you MNSSHP day to take a nap ( this is something that some will say no and some will say yes on but if you get reenergized with a 45 minute nap then you may want to think about it) or maybe have a ADR for that day to rest

and I go to disney a lot and there are still things I have not done so do not think you will see and do every thing because it more then likely will not happen

have a great trip
