I know I have seen this jalepeno dip recipe here on the dis but now I can't find it so if someone has it handy could you please post it again, I would like to have it for my moms surprise 80th birthday on Sunday.
Thanks

I posted this for Super Bowl. It is really good.

I add extra jalapenos though. I also mixed about 1/2 cup of Italian blend cheese into the dip.

Jalapeno Popper Dip

Ingredients
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1 cup mayonnaise
1 (4 ounce) can chopped green chilies, drained
2 ounces canned diced jalapeno peppers, drained
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions
1.Stir together cream cheese and mayonnaise in a large bowl until smooth. Stir in green chiles and jalapeno peppers. Pour mixture into a microwave safe serving dish, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
2.Microwave on High until hot, about 3 minutes.

Serve with French bread wedges and crackers

Baked Variation If you would like to brown the cheese, bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for about 30 minutes.

I make this recipe a lot. Instead of sprinkling the parm on top, I mix half into the dip, and put half on top. Then I always bake until bubbly. YUM!!!

(I liked to serve it with the Tostito's Flour tortilla chips, but the discontinued them! :confused3)

Oh my goodness, this is the best dip EVER and now you've made me want some!!!! :goodvibes

It's addicting isn't it?:goodvibes

I got the recipe from here during Christmas and my family, who really didn't want to try it based on the ingredients, ate it up so quickly that I hardly got to taste it ... so .... I made it again the next day! I've always loved spinach dip and that was our "tradition." Not anymore!! We have a new love! :cloud9:

Dang, I need an excuse to make dip! Is Easter close enough? :rotfl2:

just breathing sounds like enough of an excuse.

Now can you spread this on the bread and then brown it? Not sure if it would work but it sounds really good.

This sounds great! Can I copy it to our Bendy/Friendie thread recipe list?
Also, do you think it would work with reduced fat cream cheese and/or mayo?

I used Neufchatel and reduced fat mayo (not nonfat) and it was good.
Feel free to copy it to your thread.:goodvibes

Does jarred pickled jalapenos work the same in the recipe? My husband is going to worship me- he is a popper fiend!:worship:
