Jalapeño pretzel locations?

I saw Jalapeño pretzels at Typhoon Lagoon at the end of May but I don't know if they've gone since then. I also had some little cinnamon pretzel bits with chocolate sauce at Blizzard Beach but I don't know if they are the same as the ones mentioned above.
Yeah. We were shocked to see them there a few weeks ago. At least some place has them.

Seems like all of my favorite snacks end up getting taken away. First those amazing waffles fries at the Golden Oak Outpost in MK, then the spicey chicken waffle, ham & egg waffle and ham & proscuitto waffle at Sleepy Hollow and now the pretzels around the parks (I love the sweet cream cheese one).

Yeah, was disappointed to see the waffle fries with pulled pork gone yesterday too. Those were delicious.

Wah, another thing that sounds delicious that I wont be able to try! I was so excited to try the chicken waffle sandwich thing, but I hear that is gone too.

Peoples stupidity. For AK they stopped selling the jalepeno pretzels and turkey legs because people couldn't stop themselves from feeding the animals.

Will they stop selling popcorn next because you can't fix stupid, and people can't resist feeding it to ducks/animals??? Sure loved those pretzels. :headache:

I assume since the jalepeno cheese pretzel was mainly sold at AK, if they weren't selling it there, might as well pull it completely.

More a matter of disagreement with the supplier.

Bought a Jalapeno pretzel June 21rst at Typhoon Lagoon. The only place I could find one.

Could be both. If I remember correctly Disney Blog announced it awhile back and announced that they were specifically being pulled from AK along with the turkey legs from people feeding the animals.

I don't understand the logic of this at all. (I know you're just the messenger.) Why these specific items? Couldn't people now just feed the animals somethinf else if they were that intent on doing it in the first place? And what kind of wording feeds an animal a turkey leg? That's just...weird.

Yea makes no sense to me. I can only assume that it's easier to throw a piece of a pretzel or turkey further to an animal than a piece of popcorn. Or that perhaps they really don't mind if an animal gets a piece or two of popcorn but the pretzel or turkey leg might be worse for it to digest.

Whatever it is, I say just bring back the pretzel and put up a few more signs saying "don't feed the wildlife"

Do you happen to remember at which location? These were my favorite, and it would make my day if they're still available at Typhoon Lagoon when I visit in September!

The "Disney Blog" is not exactly a reliable source of unbiased views. In other words they are always going to come up with some spin to make management look blameless.

I would not consider their statements to be the gospel on why these pretzels disappeared.

My theory is it's cheaper to just stock one type. The decrease in sales was probably minimal.

And this is why that story put out by the Blog is total bumpkus. They know it and sadly, don't care how stupid it makes them look.

Pop Secret took over as the popcorn vendor same exact time the pretzels changed. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to do that math
If that vendor provided them they'd still sell them. It wasn't done as a cost cutting measure, even though that's the flavor of the month to use when it comes to explaining why Disney makes any change these days.
Now, maybe Pop Secret as a supplier for popcorn was a cost cutting measure, that I can buy. But Disney didn't take away the pretzels just because serving plain was cheaper.

The little stand by the bathrooms that are near the overlook over the wave pool. Near a little bridge that leads to kiddie area

Driving home now from Typhoon Lagoon and I can confirm that both types of stuffed pretzels remain there. We spilt both as a family today as our snack! Yum! The menu reads stuffed pretzel and lists each type so don't imagine they will stop selling any time soon.

Wow, if only we were visiting typhoon lagoon on our trip. We don't care much for water parks. Cannot see me creeping the entrance trying to pay someone to bring me one haha! :scared1::rotfl:

Just wanted to confirm that as of 9/5/2016, there were still Jalapeno as well as Cream Cheese stuffed pretzels at Lowtide Lou's!!

as for AK, I think it would be more a matter of people leaving the turkey bones lying around where the animals can get them, than actually feeding turkey legs to the animals.

As for the pretzels, that was a supplier issue. Nothing to do with them being fed to animals.

That makes sense. But what a huge bummer for us. My daughter and I were just talking about the pretzels the other day and looking forward to having one in December! :(
