Just wondering if anyone has met Jake from Jake and The Neverland Pirates yet? DD loves him and I haven't told her yet that he is available for M&G. Just curious about waits and the overall experience.
Pictures are appreciated!!:goodvibes

Haven't met him yet, but he is there. He's at both the Disney Jr. Meet & Greet outside the show and as part of the "Play & Dine" Character meal at Hollywood & Vine.

yup. Hollywood Studios.
both Jake and Handy Manny were outside the Disney Playhouse.
and
We had lunch with Jake, Manny, Agent Oso, and June (Einsteins) at Hollywood&Vine... the buffet had a very tasty seafood alfredo dish.

Just an update:
Jake is where Handy Manny used to be and Manny is where The Einsteins used to meet.
Pretty standard M&G. It was a pleasant surprise for my DD. I bought some of the gold chocolate coins for her to give to Jake. We got a pretty good reaction from that.

we where the only family in the line on friday.. poor jake looked a little sad, but lots of interaction with my boys

This is how we felt about the Handy Manny meet and greet during our trip. The line for Handy Manny was very short while the line for the Little Einsteins (Leo and Annie) was long. My two youngest kids absolutely love the Jake and the Neverland Pirates show and would be thrilled to see Jake! I'm kind of bummed that he wasn't there during our trip this past August.

Our wait for the meet and greet last week was about 10 minutes for Jake. The line will be longer if you get there right when the Disney Jr. show lets out though because a lot of people will go straight from the show to his line. He was really cute with DD.

If you are there when they have DHS extra evening magic hours and your DD can stay up that late (Sunday nights usually) , I would recommend to do that and go to the Disney Junior Dance Party ( in the place where the show is during the day). The dance party starts the minute EMH starts, so you can get there early and not stay too long if your DD is tired. Jake was there and he was dancing like crazy and balloon sword fighting with the kids (there are people there that make balloon swords, animals or flowers for the kids). DD loved that. Jake saw DH with a video camera too and he jumped in front of the camera and started sticking his head in it and backing up and acting crazy for the camera. We haven't seen that video yet, but I'm sure it is pretty cute. If you get there when the party starts and Jake isn't the first character out, you might have to wait a little bit as they do switch them out. I want to say it is about every 15 minutes or so, that they take 2 in and put 2 others out. When we were there last week, they were alternating Jack and Handy Mandy with Mickey and Minnie.

We never saw Jake at the meet & greets for Playhouse Disney, but I was sure to book at Hollywood & Vine breakfast! Our daughter & son LOVE Jake!

Breakfast was delish and there was June from the Little E's, Jake, Oso, and Handy Manny! Character interaction was awesome and they did a special birthday song and dance for all the birthday kiddos! They also had two cast members rocking out with the kids (and characters!) to songs like the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse & the Jake themesong.

I highly recommend H&V if you want to guarantee character interaction with these characters! It was really awesome!

I never knew this. Thank you so much for sharing. Just when you think you know all there is to know, you find out something new.

I love Disney and I love DIS.

I just checked our schedule and our day there on Jan 30 has EMH!!! So excited!

You're welcome! I love Disney and the Dis too. I never knew about the dance party either and I think they have been doing it a long time. I found out about it on the DIS before our December 2010 trip. It was one of the highlights of the trip last year. It was just as much fun this year as it was last year! I'm glad you will get to go!

We love the dance party - did it for the first time in May - and am happy to see Jake added to the mix. We love Jake! I hope they still have the Einsteins sometimes, too, though.

Thank you for posting this information! My 2 1/2 year old (also named Jake) watches this show & I know he will be excited to see him :goodvibes

The character interaction is fabulous and the food delish at H&V for breakfast! HIGHLY reccomend!!! :thumbsup2

Thanks so much! I didn't know they added Jake to H&V. Will definitely have to bring my DS on our next trip! Thank you Dis Boarders!!
