We will be staying at CBR for a week in June. I am wondering if any of the pool areas has a Jacuzzi? Also, how late at night are the pools open at this resort? Thanks:earsgirl: :earsgirl:

Yes, there's one at the main pool, but I don't know the hours.

Yes there is one and it will be crammed with loud, screaming kids that are unsupervised and stay in there for hours. When we stayed there it was so packed with kids splashing and carrying on that no adults went near it. It was worse then the pool.

It will depend on when you are going. We always go at the end of August and have never experienced the huge crowds at the main pool that others post about. In fact, we always had the hot tub to ourselves when we went in it. If you are going during peak season, I could see where it would be overly crowded.

We were at CBR last November and the pool/hot tub was definitely crammed. The pool, even late at night, had unrulely kids running around unsupervised and the hot tub was filled with drunk adults. One girl was so drunk she had to be helped out of the tub.
We wound up swimming at the quiet pool the entire trip. Which is better then nothing.
Trying POFQ this November, hope the pool area is not as active at night.

Yes CBR has a hot tub. I have also stayed at CSR and POR and very seldom see an adult in the hot tub it is overrun with kids. I don't understand why parents aren't supervising their children.

We went to the CBR in September twice and October once. None of which are peak season. Each time the hottub was overrun with kids. I wouldn't use a public hot tub anyway but wouldn't have a chance even if I wanted to.

The worst hot tub was at CSR. I was the only adult in it. Guess I am from the old school where parents watch when their kids go in water.

It was a shame because it was a larger one but overrun with kids.

is it just me or isn't it posted that children under a certain age are not allowed in a hot tub?
or rather - at the very least - need to be supervised?

I dunno...I thought it was UNHEALTHY for a young child to be in a hot tub.

We just got back and glad to see we aren't alone in our thoughts. We did the main pool once and that was enough...it was a mad house! We ended up going to our pool at Martinique and it was perfect...not overly crowded and easy to keep an eye on the little ones. We didn't even attempt the hot tub.

The pool hours were 7:30am-11:00pm or Midnight...can't remember which.

Yes, hot tubs are usually posted that kids under a certain age are not permitted in them.

My kids would ask why but I told them the rules are the rules. I guess most parents at WDW don't know how to read.

We like the quiet pools better but it's a shame when you can't use the hot tubs because of kids.

I agree about parents not watching their children, and it's not just at the resorts, it is everywhere you go. When I was a kid my parents were always right there making sure we weren't getting into any trouble or being disrespectful, and I am glad they were, it taught me about respect and responsibility. Parents that let their kids do anything they please are only hurting their kids in the long run, they end up growing up to be irresponsible adults as well. Sadly too, some of them end up getting hurt or killed as children because their parents were too busy worrying about themselves to notice what their kids were doing.

Ok, I will step off my soapbox for now....

I agree with everyone!! When we were at CBR last May, it was our first trip without our kids. The main pool at CBR was overrun with kids - screaming - yelling and running! The hot tub was filled with kids and way over the limit of people allowed in it. We also spent most of our time in the quiet pool, but unfortunately the atmosphere there (Trinidad North) was nothing compared to the main pool and some of the other quiet pools. We are trying CSR in September. I am not counting on finding it to be any different, but one can always hope!! Either way, we always have a wonderful time and we don't let it bother us!! :sunny:
