– I am not a great one for water in the face type rides but still love the waterparks all the same and I love just sitting watching the world and their bikinis wander by!!
We were slightly later out of bed this morning but still made it to Typhoon Lagoon by 9.45am – we found some seats to keep everyone happy (shade for the kids and sun for me and my mum). The kids were ready to going seconds so off they set with their dad and granddad as they were off to do the water in the face stuff!!!!

First they went on Slush gusher which goes up as well as down and granda managed to rip his shorts somehow!!

Then they went on the raft rides and lazy river and ended up in the wave pool which they absolutely loved – at this point they appeared back wanting me in the wave pool so off I went . The kids went deeper and deeper and I tried not to look terrified ( I enjoyed myself really!!!)

The kids were beginning to get hungry so off I went to fill the mugs and get some hotdogs and I had a chicken wrap. They were wolfed down then it was lazy river time – although not so much of the lazy as rush hour traffic on a Friday night!!! There were tubes everywhere and not just the plastic kind so the kids wanted off as they were getting squashed so we went back to the wave pool.

By this time is was 3.30pm and we decided to head off home to get showered then head off down the 192 to see what was about there!

We stopped at a Perkins to eat which was lovely – very clean, good service but very quiet. The food was good as well so we all walked out very happy. We then stopped at a Nike outlet shop and the kids got some gym kit. We then stopped in by Walgreens which is a bit like Boots the chemist and I bought a few bits then the kids wanted to head home to swim .

The kids headed for the pool and DH headed for a bud light and we were all happy and off to Animal Kingdom in the morning

Good day :thumbsup2 .We have been to the Perkins on I-Drive-lovely homestyle food.Did they have the bakery counter in there?.There chocolate eclairs are sooooooo good.x.

Lovely relaxing day. I don't like my head going underwater so don't like any of the slides expect the family raft rides. I always feel a bit unsafe on the floats when you get in. This year my youngest son said just put your head through the middle bit and lean back into the float and float. I preferred this as I was able to keep with the family and also had my legs available if I needed to dodge any showers.;)

I don't like that big wave in Typhoon Lagoon. I always think of what it must be like being caught in a tidal wave as I find the wave here scary enough.:scared1:

We went to Islands and Universal on this day.

Another lovely day Jackie....I love relaxing in typhoon lagoon too. :thumbsup2

:thumbsup2 Another enjoyable day Jackie

Excelllent day at Typhoon lagoon :goodvibes

Pardon my Anglophilic American perspective, but I love hearing that Walgreens is "A bit like Boots the chemist." ;)

Loving the report:thumbsup2 !!

Wow, great pic of the wave pool! I totally understimated it the first time I went in and got a good dunking!! :scared1: :rotfl2:

OH is the same about water on her face, but we'll all hopefully persuade her with your report to give the water park a go :)

Wheras I prefer the 'whiteness' of BB, and the family raft ride there is soooo much better, I love TL for the wave pool - what a buzz! Glad you all had an enjoyable time.

Sara. :)
