Typhoon Lagoon today
I am not a great one for water in the face type rides but still love the waterparks all the same and I love just sitting watching the world and their bikinis wander by!!
We were slightly later out of bed this morning but still made it to Typhoon Lagoon by 9.45am we found some seats to keep everyone happy (shade for the kids and sun for me and my mum). The kids were ready to going seconds so off they set with their dad and granddad as they were off to do the water in the face stuff!!!!
First they went on Slush gusher which goes up as well as down and granda managed to rip his shorts somehow!!
Then they went on the raft rides and lazy river and ended up in the wave pool which they absolutely loved at this point they appeared back wanting me in the wave pool so off I went . The kids went deeper and deeper and I tried not to look terrified ( I enjoyed myself really!!!)
The kids were beginning to get hungry so off I went to fill the mugs and get some hotdogs and I had a chicken wrap. They were wolfed down then it was lazy river time although not so much of the lazy as rush hour traffic on a Friday night!!! There were tubes everywhere and not just the plastic kind so the kids wanted off as they were getting squashed so we went back to the wave pool.
By this time is was 3.30pm and we decided to head off home to get showered then head off down the 192 to see what was about there!
We stopped at a Perkins to eat which was lovely very clean, good service but very quiet. The food was good as well so we all walked out very happy. We then stopped at a Nike outlet shop and the kids got some gym kit. We then stopped in by Walgreens which is a bit like Boots the chemist and I bought a few bits then the kids wanted to head home to swim .
The kids headed for the pool and DH headed for a bud light and we were all happy and off to Animal Kingdom in the morning
