We are leaving on the Disney Dream, and I wondered if a light coat or jacket was needed. We are going to the Bahamas, Nassau, Castaway Cay. I assume it's pretty warm there, but wondered if there's ever times a jacket was a must. Thanks!

I find the interior spaces onboard fairly chilly. That would be the theaters and dining rooms. Yes, walking the deck in the evening can also be a little chilly (it is a moving ship).
We needed a light jacket or sweatshirt in December at Port Canaveral. It was very chilly up on deck with the wind. We didn't use the jackets for the rest of the trip.
I would definitely recommend a jacket if you are going in February! We have cruised 2 times in January and evenings can be chilly walking on deck. When we docked at Castaway Cay, we needed a jacket that day, it was very breezy and cool. Temps in the Bahamas aren't necessarily hot, more warm but can be chilly with a breeze coming through.
If you want to be on deck after dark, I would definitely recommend wearing something warm-ish. Even in the Caribbean, it gets cold on deck when you're moving. I also find the theatres can sometimes be really cold so I always take a fleece or something in with me.
We just cruised this past weekend. Castaway was in the mid 70's and partly cloudy. When the sun was out it was a beautiful day. Water is definitely chilly, we brought wet suits and they helped us a bunch. There were some people in the water but not many. I was never cold on the ship but did get hot in the theater a couple of times. I would definitely bring a hoodie or a light jacket that you could have handy.
