Jack Sparrow Costume - Anyone else still trying?

I am at about 2800 codes, and nothing but alot of trunks organs, and monkeys , yes its one in every 5000 plays but not each for each player , you could do 4999 codes and someone play right before you and be the 5000th player
so its just the luck of the draw

Between my son and I about 300 codes a day and no luck. He won't let me give up though.

You are definitly not the only one out there still. I have tried to enter at least 100 codes per day since it came out. Though some days don't get to it. I always spend some time after vmk closes to gather codes from the games (nothing better to do right ) Anyway still no costume but don't know how many codes I have done either. I lost count lol

I figure I'll just keep doing 200 codes a day until I either get it that way, or it gets common enough that I can trade for it without losing all my rare stuff. 200 codes takes me about an hour - hour and a half to enter (depending on if my daughter decides mommy needs to be a jungle gym) so it's not that big of a deal.

And yeah, like I said earlier, I figured that if several people have gotten it after a couple hundred codes (like many people on here have said), then there's gotta be an equal number of people entering thousands upon thousands of codes and not getting anything but the same old junk.

Though I still think your chances go up at least a little after 5,000. Never give up! hehe

I have entered 12,382 codes and no sparrow costume as of yet.



I type 116 WPM.

I have to say, regarding both comments, that I am incredulous.

Also, the shortcut still works for me. After it was supposedly removed, someone posted an alternative link somewhere here on the Dis and I have been using that ever since. All I have to do is play the organ and I get the code - I don't have to fetch any of the other items. Is that what everyone else is doing? Was it somehow faster before?

Yes, its was faster for the first few days. You could click the VMK prize, then click one of the other prizes and click the VMK prize again for a new code. There was no need to go back even to the organ. Wish I had gotten more codes back then, now it takes much longer to get the codes.

LOL KrazyPete! I thought *I* was insane (I've entered over 500 codes now and am still going..... I so want that coat!!) But that's nothing compared to what these ppl have entered! WOW!! But I do have to admit, I haven't given up yet. I'm persistent!

And I have plenty of chests to give you. I'll come visit you next time I see you on, okay?
