Jack-In-The-Box

Does anyone know if there is a Jack-In-The-Box close by (walking distance) to DL?? I grew up LOVING their tacos and curly fries and whenever we come back to CA I HAVE to have my 'fix' until our next trip. Does anyone know if they have them in Vegas too?

There are several in Anaheim according to the locator on their website, but I'm not sure about walking distance. I just love their chocolate shakes!!

I don't think there are any in walking distance. They are in Anaheim area and definitely in Vegas.

I don't think there are any you could walk to. If you gotta get your JITB fix just grab a taxi, go through the drive-thru and take your tacos and fries back to the entrance area of the parks and find a nice bench. You won't be away from the resort for more than 15-20 minutes and it shouldn't cost you more than $20 for the taxi ride there and back. Just an idea.

Well there are two in the immediate area. The one we go to is on S. Harbor. It's a ways down and we usually drive over to it. I suppose you could walk if you had to.

What I would do is put in the address of your hotel and the address to Jack in the Box to see how far it is for you. Here is that address: 2210 S. Harbor

The other one is on West Ball Rd. Again not all that close. Here is that address: 2793 W Ball Rd.

We love their tacos too!

Thanks very much for all the info! I will definitely research it....even if it's a bit of a walk it would still probably be worth it I love them that much!

I have a ton of JITB's around me but I have never once had their tacos. It seems like such an odd thing to have on their menu! I'll have to try them now.

I too am looking so forward to going! We had them here in NJ but they all closed down around 15 years ago and boy do I miss it!!! It is the first place I want to hit.

Ok Vegas... You leave the airport and head towards the strip on Tropacana.. pass under the freeway and the JITB is on your left... It's been our first stop in Vegas for years... We then munch the tacos while cruise down the Strip..

JITB tacos... nothing quite like them... with their extra pocket of grease YUM!!!

I am clueless about any around DL though...

I will say that we are getting the GPS thing for our rental car, when we go to California... not because I can't find my way around, but because you can plug in Jack in the Box and it will take you to the nearest one!! (sad, but true)

You all are making me very hungry for these, I might have to try their tacos now while I am there in March, I am a huge taco lover and they sound so yummy, might have to swing in there on the way to DL from LAX, sounds like it isn't too out of the way.

For our Santa Barbara part of the trip I actually chose the place we are staying because it's within walking distance to JITB. If I'm really lucky they'll be having one of their taco specials like 2 for 99cents or do they even do that anymore?

The closest Jack in the Box is about 1.5 miles south of the main vehicle entrance to Disneyland (not the parking garage but the Disneyland sign side). We love that place too.

What makes JITB tacos so good (and bad...) is that the entire taco is deep fried. I admit they are unlike any others out there, but they are greasy! I just saw a commercial for JITB on TV for 2 tacos, and a choice of one cheeseburger or chicken sandwich plus a large drink for $2.69. Pretty good deal .

You can get the 2 for 99 cents. I thought they had these in Queensland but with tasty Kangaroo meat?? Just kidding!

I think the tacos at Jack-ITB are actually tofu; no beef believe it or not.

I always heard it was a mix of beef and oatmeal.....anyone know anyone that works there that knows the true secret recipe??? Then again, maybe I really don't want to know!!
