The following takes place between 12:00 p.m and 1:00 p.m.
We head on to Mickey’s Philharmagic and have just a few minutes wait before the next performance. When the doors to the theater automagically open, Donna Rose Warpstar Harkness-Ood and I select a row, and settle in for the 3D journey. Before you know it we are catching gems from Ariel, getting splashed by magical mops, smelling the wonderful baked delights prepared in an enchated castle and feeling the wonderful breeze on a magic carpet ride. It was wonderful. This is one of our top rated attractions in the MK.
We leave the theater and spend some time browsing the Philharmagic gift shop. Agent Donna Rose Warpstar Harkness-Ood began playing the clarinet two years ago (this will be important shortly), and has turned into a little virtuoso. (Pardon the brag about my co-agent. It isn’t very professional). The marriage of music theme and Disney is quite delicious. We leave the Philharmagic shop and I persuade my co-agent to head over to Storybook Circus. On the way over we happen to run into the Royal Majesty Makers!
They are just starting a show, and lo and behold the musical accompaniment is performed by a clarinet quartet! It becomes a must to stop and watch. For some odd reason Agent Donna Rose Warpstar Harkness-Ood was not up for group participation the Royal Majesty Makers were asking for. They were undeterred and made sure she joined in the fun.

We stayed for the show, hoping we’d be able to get a quick pic with the clarinet quartet. However the Royal Majest Makers with quartet in tow made a very hasty exit after the show and we couldn’t catch up to them before they disappeared behind a set of “Cast Member Only” doors.
At this point my co-agent was really not up for Storybook Circus, but I insisted. I wanted to see Donald, Daisy, Minnie and Goofy in their new costumes. Begrudgingly she went. We arrived and the wait was 25 min. Again my fellow agent balked at the idea. As luck, for her, would have it we received a call from Division. Our current mission would have to be interrupted, with a top secret side mission.
Another day Pete’s Silly Sideshow…another day.

Thanks! Glad you're enjoying it. While I did feel a little bad for ruining that kid's game, I am hoping one day that little act will come back around and ruin the game of some random kid trying to hit on my DD like that. Don't mess with mama bear!!

Our side mission would take us out of MK for a bit. On our way out though, we had to stop at the Confectionery to see if we could get some of the special day only treats that were shown on the Disney Parks blog. Sadly, there were none to be had that we could see. It was quite busy in the Confectionery and we simply didnt want to hold up our side mission any longer than necessary. Of course that didnt meant that we couldnt jump across the street to the Emporium! A few months ago I had seen a picture of a cute little white with black Mickey head cross-body bag in a report from another agent. Taking time to find this bag during our morning trip to the Emporium was not possible. A little bit of searching around the womens section led me to the cute little bag. Unfortunately the bag would not accommodate my camera, and I couldnt justify the expense. Perhaps when they go on sale.
We then made our way over to package pick up for the items we had bought earlier in the day. The CM was efficient, but not effusively friendly. Poor guy looked like he had been through the ringer that day.
We made our way over to the resort bus stop to wait on a bus for Pop. It was then that the heat of the day really hit us. Of course we noticed it was hot earlier, but it wasnt until we stopped moving that the heat really hit us. A bus arrived, and we headed back to our base camp at Pop.
We arrived at Pop and headed straight to our room.

We were pulled out of MK for a side mission involving a galaxy far, far away. Yes, Division wanted us to head over to the Hyperspace Hoopla, at DHS. SWW were in full effect, and with things checking out so far at the Monsterous Summer, we were being sent to SWW to make sure the magic was on there. But first, we had to sleep. So thats what we did. Sleep. Agent Donna Rose Warpstar Harkness-Ood was asleep before her head hit the pillow. I set an alarm for 5:00 p.m. and went to sleep.

Orders from Division were to be heading out to DHS at 6:30. Clearly I would not be able to execute on this order. I quickly got cleaned up from the earlier sweaty day in the park, and went to wake my co-agent. Well, I couldnt do it. She just looked so peaceful, and considering our long journey getting to WDW, the lack of sleep before heading out to the park that morning I disobeyed orders and let her sleep.

However, my fellow agent would likely not remember the conversation so I abandoned that plan. Rather I decided to so some reconnaissance on disboards.com as to what the thoughts and experiences were from people attending the 24 hour event. As I read posts I happily discovered a link to live web cam setup on the train station balcony overlooking Main St. USA. I watched the webcast for a while. CM were pointing out the webcam’s location to those who were already staking out spots for the evening parade. People began doing silly dances in front of the camera. Good stuff. I watched the web cam and continued my reconnaissance work before falling asleep yet again.

We arrive at the Magic Kingdom bus stop at 1:00 as documented by my co-agent.
The bus has a good number of people on it, all excited to be heading to the park. We arrive to the park in short order and the first order of business is to go do something silly in front of the webcam. Mission accomplished.
Agent Donna Rose Warpstar Harkness-Ood wore her PJs for the evening’s festivities so getting a picture with Mickey and Minnie in their PJs was a top priority. We went over to Town Hall to check out the wait time to meet the pair, and it was 80 min. We decided to come back and check it out later.
We decided to head back to Tomorrowland. To say it was crowded, would be an understatement. Lots of people back there. Monsters Inc. was playing on the screen at the Tomorrowland stage, and there were many people plopped down on the ground watching the movie. My co-agent and I decided we’d ride the TTA Peoplemover. There was quite a line for it.
This picture was taken was we neared the ramp up to the loading platform. The line when we joined it was much longer out past the white light furtherest to the left in the picture.
As we took off on our journey we were able to see the where Mike and Sulley were meeting over by Buzz. The line was massive. Made a note to try and come back later for that.
After taking the circle line tour of Tomorrowland we decide to go watch the Carousel of Progress.
Agent Donna Rose Warpstar Harkness-Ood and I have an agreement regarding this attraction. If I go to CoP, she must ride Living with the Land at Epcot. CoP is a fine enough attraction, but not something I care to do every trip. My co-agent on the other hand would go multiple times a trip if she could.
We just miss the start of one show and must wait a few minutes in line for the next show to start. As we enter the theater I’m surprised we don't see sleeping patrons from the last show still occupying seats in the theater. We find seats along with a good number of other people who are going on this amazing journey from the turn of the century to “today.” The lights go out and the show begins and as it does a hush falls over the room. As the show progresses I notice more and more people are dozing off. More than on a normal run of this attraction that is.
We exit the attraction and go back over to where Mike and Sulley are meeting to check out the line situation. It is still pretty bad and my co-agent doesn’t wish to hang around to meet them, so we head off toward the Tomorrowland stage and watch a bit of Monster’s Inc. before deciding we needed to do something about fulfilling our need for speed.
