Jack and Sally start time @ MNSSHP

I have read somewhere that the Jack and Sally meet and greet at MNSSHP started as early as 5 pm. Is this a regular occurrence or just a sometimes happening? Does any one have any experience with this?
We are trying to do as much as we can and they are the only "must do" characters that we need to see. Any help would be appreciated.

When we met them two years ago, we got in line after our dinner at Crystal Palace, so around 5-5:30, thinking we'd have to wait but to our surprise, they were already meeting. Can't remember the exact party we did but it was either Halloween or the day before/after so it was a sold out party. If they are your must do and you want to do as much as you can, get to the park at 4 pm and get in line. Granted if you are eating a table service or something before hand but get in line before 6, you'll be okay. We were only in line for 30-40 minutes. Jack is very talkative so that can slow down the line a bit

I believe people start forming a line for them right at 4pm. Not sure exactly when they come out, but I know their one of the most popular things for the Halloween party. I'd get there and wait in line as soon as you can so you're not looking at like a 2 hour wait during the main party time

They came out on the first party night last year early, like around 600-615pm. We were in line at 415 and there were two parties ahead of us. By the time they came out the line was massive.

Last year we got in line around 5 and they were already out taking pictures.
