J W marriott??????????

Is the J W marriott good? We are thinking about staying there. Are the rooms and lobby nice??????? Also is it close to the two Disney waterparks? (Blizerd Beach and Typhoon Lagoon) If you know please write to us!

Is the J W marriott good?

I don't know if you are familiar with Marriott but the JW's are the very top end of the Marriott line. The JW in Orlando shares a property with the Ritz - so yes it is good, very good.

We are thinking about staying there. Are the rooms and lobby nice???????

rooms, lobby, grounds, pool area, onsite golf course, are all very good.

The JW Marriott requires the use of a car as it is not that convenient to the parks. Here is the home page of the resort, if you click on the maps link, it will give you an idea of location.

The JW Marriott is a true deluxe hotel (unlike Disney "wannabe" deluxes)

However, the downside is you will really need a car. It's not that close to Disney or any of the water parks.

i work for marriott and i love the hotels, but i am biased. I have friends on here that use my friends and family rate discount and they love it too.

We absolutely LOVED the JW Marriott. It is beautiful ! The lobby is nice - not huge but upscale. There was always a refreshment area at check in that had this great lemon water. Delicious ! (We were there in June). The rooms are definitely high end. Best bed, linen, bathrobes and fabulous bathrooms. The pool and outdoor activities were great. The lazy river pool was so much fun. There was live music out by the pool. They had ping pong tables, life size chess set, scuba in pool, tether ball, golf, etc. Definitely a lot to keep you busy. You will need a car to get around. It is very close to Seaworld. I would stay there again without a second thought ! PS- check out their burger at Citrion's !!!
