I'm thinking of buying a pair as I've heard great things about them. For $98 a pair I was wondering if anyone has a pair and like them.

I don't have any J. Crew, but if you are willing to spend $100, look into Juicy. I have only one pair, but they are so soft and comfortable and DH says my butt looks good in them. Can't beat that with a stick! :teeth:

I'm hoping Juicy has a web site as we don't have crap here in Vermont ;)

I'll check it out, however I already have a butt so I don't need anything to enhance it :lmao:

I need a jean that would look good on a 5'7" size 12 girl

How far are you from Hanover? There is a store there named bella - and I bet they have them there.

let me know when you find your perfect jean! i'm about the samne proportions (5'10" and a sz 14) and i am still looking for a great jean.

J Crew jeans are so comfortable! They are the only kind I will wear. DH just bought me some new fancy jeans--seven for all mankind I think--but I won't wear them because the J Crews are so soft and broken in. I can't tell you what cut would look best on you as I am shorter than you, but give them a try! They have free return shipping if you order from online or the catalog.

One other good thing is that they recently switched their sizing from 2, 4, 6 etc. to the actual waist and length size in inches--makes it easier to get the right fit.

There are some jeans by Juicy on sale at nordstrom.com and shopbop.com currently. I find that designer jeans all fit differently and need to be tried on in person. (and I've really never found them to be anything spectactular IMO.)

and I think JCrew is disgustingly overpriced...but that's JMO.

I'm 5'9"...between an 8 and a 10 currently (I've put on weight) and I always have good luck with gap jeans.

Gap jeans are what I wear currently but I'm bored with them. That's why I'm inquiring about JCrew.

I hate to order something over the web because I know all jeans fit different. We do have a JCrew store so I guess I'll check it out.

I've never purchased J Crew jeans, however I do purchase Arden B jeans, they are about $118 and up for a pair, they are so soft, comfortable, stylish, they last a good while, and they are good for tall people, I am 5'9'' and I am a size 1, 2 and they actually fit me! I've seen size 12 there. maybe there is one near you. If not check out www.ardenb.com
