We have a 2 week trip for RPR in January but after browsing the web I found a really good deal for POFQ at Disney next september for 2 weeks so we will be doing Disney again but hopefully staying onsite should be good have heard the french quarte just done up up so hopefully good rooms :jester:

Ahh kewl :) I havn't been back there since '97 when we stayed at Port Orleans,, when it was still Port Orleans, and not POFQ,,lol. I hope the seamonster pool wasn't messed with. We loved that. Do they still have the boats that take you to Downtown Disney? That was such fun too. I loved seeing the backside of the Treehouses along the river.

I wish I could talk my crew into going to Disney,, but I think they are burned out on Disney. I am hoping to get them to go when they open Expedition Everest in 2006.

Have a great trip Highlander!

Thanks our kids are excited they do not know about the january trip to RPR as we are waiting till xmas to suprise them the poll looks cool with the serpent and yes they still have the boat to take u to DD thats sounds so cool as do the horse carriage rides:jester:

How did you get reservations for January at RPR and also if you dont mind me asking where did you find the good deal for Disney?:D

Fear not, you are not alone. I can't wait to start planning a Disney trip after our Universal is all over. Can't help but love them both.

Hiya Highlander....sounds like a nice one! I've just come back from a trip to the Universal Mediterranea. Stayed at the El Paso on-site hotel. Thanks for the info you gave us. It was great. Really enjoyed both parks. Had unlimited access to the Costa Caribe - great fun! The weather was really warm too. Definitely going again. Next trip........Florida.....hoping to start booking in a couple of months..can't wait!!!!:D

Many of us here on the board love them both..so you have company on THE DARK SIDE..:sunny:

What a great surprise for your kids..they will love it!!!

Enjoy your Disney time too..but be sure and go to Universal while in town...:sunny:

Not the dark side at all! I love both destinations. I am just thankful that we have so many choices with Disney and Universal. I stayed at POFQ this past December and it was great. You will love it! Have a great trip!

We booked RPR through UK travel agent part of package flights & accomadation and the same with Disney overall both trips are costing a little over $8000 which may seem a lot but remember this includes UK flights to the USA as well :jester:
