I have now started my christmas shopping. Went to toys r us yesterday and got some disney princess things for DD and got a few little things from tescos too. I always get the bug for it this time of year and i'm counting the days to my tree going up

When do you usually put your tree up ? We're one of the first to put ours up in our street during the last weekend in November (cor thats only 8 weeks away), but I know of some people who put theirs up a week or two before us.

Wow!

I wouldn't even entertain the idea of us putting up the tree until it was at least December

I think thats long enough as we always enjoy the extra space again when it's taken down

Ours always goes up on December 1st. It's now getting to the stage where it's a two-day operation getting all the stuff in place although, funny how it never seems to take more than a couple of hours to take it all down again!!

I've started getting little pressies for Xmas too. Books and DVDs mainly but I have found a few Disney things for our trip in January. I thought the kids might like a present from Tinkerbell. I plan to say she flew in overnight and knew we were coming in a couple of weeks.
My brother is going to WDW on Sunday so I'm going to get him to pick up a couple of things as well ( like a couple of postcards he can get autographed and can then be sent to the kids).
I need to get to the Disney store closer to Xmas though for tree decorations, lollipops etc.
BTW our tree goes up the first Saturday in December as thats when we have time to do it.

I bought the first pressie on Friday too! An Emily Strange calendar for Becky Im hoping to buy loads in Florida when we go tho........
