I've started Throwing Things OUT!

All in preparation for our move to Florida. Where did all this junk come from???

I've got 5 different stacks of stuff. My keep it pile, the Ebay one, the yard sale one, the free stuff out in front of my house one and the get it out of here one. This is actually kind of fun and I know this time it's really going to happen. Wow, it's really exhausting though.

Anyone else out there moving to Florida or elsewhere? How ya making out?

I'm not moving now, but I had moved a lot in the past! It always feels good to get organized and to get rid of a lot of stuff!

The hardest part is leaving the people behind.

We're in the same boat! We've actually been packing slowly, but surely, for about 3 months now...things like collectibles, stuff we do not need this time of year, etc.. Seems like it will never get done tho!

6 more weeks, and Florida, here we come!

I am moving to a city about an hour away in about a month or so (hubby just got a job there and started yesterday!!!!!). I am throwing things away left and right! Hubbyb is a junk collector lol! So to throw the good things away now I will have to do it while he is gone :space: . I am sooooooooo excited! I will be even more excited when we start saving to move to san diego, but this will do for now lol. instead of using packing boxes we have gotten a zillion storage containers, the long ones with lids. I will donate most after we move in. Good luck to you as you have a lot of miles in between the two cities. don't have a lot here but it is still a move, and one that has taken a lot to prepare for

We'll be in the same boat soon -- we've just put our house on the market and we're waiting to see how things go before we look for another one in Orlando. We're having a block long garage sale at the end of this month and I plan to get rid of A LOT of stuff -- all of the big toys, winter coats, hats, gloves, scarves, movies, some furniture, etc. We're really trying to scale things down so we don't have too much to move to the new place.
