Dh left a very sharp kitchen knife in a bowl full of washing up. So in I plunge my hands and end up with a lovely 2cm cut on the side of my hand :(

After 4 1/2 hours in casualty, I am now bandaged up and home. Luckily I had the Brit's Guide to read while I waited!!

OooooH !!

Makes me shudder to think about it !!

Glad you're ok now though... Expect DH will have to do the dishes for a few days/weeks now eh ?

Ouch!

Hope you're feeling better and looking forward to all the pampering you'll be getting over the next few days ;)

....... oh no Kaylee :( I hope it isn't too sore.

Kitchen knives are quite scary - something else to watch out for is not to leave sharp kitchen knives with sharp points draining point upwards....... I think my DH did this once and I nearly stabbed myself with it.

Flippin' 'eck. I feel ick just thinking about that. I hope its all better soon.

Feeling a bit better today :D But obviously can't do any washing up for a week or anything else that might hurt my poorly hand :D

DH had what's called some 'verbal advice' from the doctor at A & E telling him not to do it again - he looked quite sheepish :D

   OWWWWWWWW. EEK, don't like blood! I did a similar thing years ago with my thumb . . . bleugh thinking about it makes me want to chuck.

Remember - no washing up for a few weeks - must make sure you heal properly:D :D

Owowowow! I suppose the upside is no washing up for a bit - be sure to milk that one for as loooooooong as you can, hehehe.

Glad to hear it's improving though :)

Looks like a good excuse to go out and buy yourself a dishwasher machine!

EEEW!!! I did that once with one of those V slicer things - sliced one of my fingernails clean off and much of the top of my finger!!!! And it bleeds even more in warm water???
