Brief summary: My DW, Nicole hadn't been feeling well the past week or two, so she called our family doc, who asked her to get blood work done. The blood work showed him something he didn't like, so he wanted her to get chest x-rays done. He thought maybe it was pnumonia.
She doesn't have pnumonia.
He thought he saw some sort of mass on her chest X-ray, so he asked her to go get a CT-Scan and it confirmed what he already thought -- she has a mass in her chest, by the trachea.

They have to do a biopsy to know for certain, but our doctor is leaning towards it being non-Hodgkin's lymphoma or Hodgkin's disease.
We're hoping they can get her in Monday or Tuesday, but she'll have to be in the hospital one or two nights, because they have to cut her open to get the tissue sample. Because of where the mass is it would be too dangerous to do a non-invasive biopsy.
We'll know more hopefully by the end of the week. Nicole's taking it pretty well -- about as well as can be expected right now.
I could use some prayers or good wishes right about now -- thanks.
