Well here is the update. I have finally convinced my dh that the old one is too old to be repaired. The 2 boys and I went out and bought a new microwave yesterday. Boy is it fast. We are going to have to learn how long to put food in again because it is twice as fast as the old one at least. Popcorn in the old one took 5 min. in the new one 1 min. 30 secs. It is a really nice one. Now the next question is ....I looked at 2 different places. The first place we looked at them twice (went back 2 different days) and they gave me a sheet on the 3 models I was interested in. Then the boys and I went to Future Shop and looked at what I thought were 2 of the models and I didn't see the top one there. I talked to the salesman and the 2nd model was the one I had decided on because it was a little lower in price at the 1st store. But they didn't have any in stock. When I went to Future Shop and saw the models they had both in stock but the higher priced one (#2 I thought at the other store) was $10.00 more. I told the guy that and said thanks and was going to leave. He said that for $10.00 I could have the lower price. I took it. Now I really believed that that was the price at the first store. When we got home I found the sheet from the first store and realized that the one I got was the top model and it was actually $10.00 more at that store than the 2nd. So now I got the oven for $20.00 less. I feel really bad that I thought that it was $10.00 more. I feel like I should go back to the store and give them the $10.00.
