UGH! I've had enough!! No more of this horrid winter weather!

Its currently a wonderfully frigid temperature of -25*C/-13*F.:cold:

But it will warm up a bit by tomorrow. In time for us to get another 30 cm (almost a foot) of snow tomorrow.

I want sunshine and warmth and to see green!!! I'm so sick of seeing white.

OK, vent over. Thanks for reading.

 Groundhog day is is Wednesday...even tho we have 12+ inches and blizzard conditions predicted for that day, I am trying to remain optimistic on that littel guy, and THANKFUL our heat is working!

I feel your pain. Here in Colorado, we seem to go through our seasons on a weekly basis.

Friday was close to 70 F, DH golfed on Sat and Sun. Right now (Monday morning) it is snowing and tomorrow the predicted high is -4 F. That is a +70 degree temperature swing in less than a week.

You get a taste of what spring is going to be like, pull out the shorts and t-shirts, only to get it yanked away with frigid temperatures.

I HEAR YOU :worship::worship:

A tad colder here, but not much, as we are not that far.
However, we are not (thank goodness) getting that storm. So far, so good.

I am counting days until Spring Break, and have a few ideas popping up. I hope to get out for a little reprieve.

yep I am with you. I am tired of cold and snow. I swear every time I look out my window's I see snow falling, may only be a few flakes at a time but its still there. I am counting down the days till warm weather and the snow melting away, though when I look out at my yard it is hard to picture it gone since there is so much and more coming.

Me too. BUT, it was a high of 68 yesterday here in NC! I was out in a t-shirt...sooooo nice! Supposed to be mid 40's all week and then 60-something on Thursday. Hope is on the horizon.

I'm with you! And this winter EVERY time we get a significant amount of snow DH is out of town so I'm outside *trying* to shovel which I'm not supposed to do since I'm 35 weeks pregnant and have been getting contractions off and on for 4 weeks. I wish there were some neighborhood boys out looking to make a few extra bucks, I'd gladly pay them, but it seems there aren't any out and about this year.

We're getting hit with that and it will be the first heavy snow fall of the season. Our highest so far has been 5 inches before Christmas and lately just a couple inches here and there. We have been extremely lucky up to this point.

I'm sure people will think I'm shopping tonight for the storm coming up, but my normal shopping trip is Monday night when DD is in gymnastics. I'm sure the stores will be busy tomorrow, since the news is telling everyone to have 3 days of groceries on hand and you'll have the normal run on bread, eggs, and milk.

My kids are happy to have Wednesday and possibly Thursday off from school. We'll have to wait and see how much we really get vs. what is predicted.

:scared1::scared1: I just looked at the weather network, and WE ARE getting that snow on Wednesday . Oh well. Some tomorrow, but LOTS on Wednesday. I guess it is our turn.

I heartily agree with you! I woke up this morning to -37C with -42C windchill. and I didn't plug in the car . Only 3 days ago it was +8C. Sigh, I'm ready for spring.:flower3::flower:

I was walking the dogs in the park on Sat. It was almost 40 and a bit of sun, it felt wonderful.

Here we go again.....:headache:

The US National Weather Service map is unreal-the storm system going through the country is HUGE. We are supposed to only get about 6" of sno with this one but that cold Canadian air is supposed to drop down over us later this week. Our temperatures have actually been "mild" for MN this winter, mostly hovering around 20 with the exception of one week and now later this week. I am usually ok with winter until about the end of Feb but once March hits I am ready for golf. Last year the golf courses were all open in early March, which is unusual so it will be especially hard this year if we have a late spring.

Oh goodness DO NOT shovel snow in your condition otherwise you are going to have a baby.

That is how I was born...;)

Blizzard conditions, Detroit MI, 1965. Mom went to shovel and then that was it. Soon my dad and everyone else was helping him shovel to take her to the hospital.

That storm is impressive (not in a good way) and hits about 30 states that have been issued watches, warnings, adviseries, etc. What a mess.

Six inches is still enough to make driving a real pain. I'm not sure we'll get the arctic air, since nothing is being said about it, but this morning was -8 with windchill and that was cold enough. Stay warm over there.

As for golf, my DH is getting the itch and plans on going soon with some guys from work to the golf dome to hit some. He plays his PS3 Tiger woods game and the Wii golf, but that's not cutting it.;)

I'm with you. I'm so sick & tired of winter.

We are supposed to get hit by that storm tomorrow through Wednesday it looks like. Up to another foot of snow. It almost seems impossible at this point that I'll have my pool open in a few months, planting a garden & cutting the lawn.

Oh, how I wish Spring would be sprung on us soon!!!

Yes, I agree. Don't shovel when you're that far along. Maybe hire a snow removal company just for those times when you really need it and your DH is not there. It's more expensive than a teenager, but you won't risk going into labor and trying to get through all that snow to the hospital.

Now, go put your feet up. ;)

We're supposed to get some sort of icy/rainy/snowy MESS tonight into tomorrow.

I've had it! Enough! This Winter business has got to go! It's giving me a nasty case of Disney bug.

:sunny: :beach:

Yeah, I love living where I do.

Keep rubbing it in!!! :goodvibes

We leave to head back to Florida (Vero & Disney's OKW) in less than 3 weeks, so at least I have that to look forward to!
