I'm going to be 40 years old in 2014, and my wish is to spend that birthday in Disney.
So here is my PTR: I have A LOT of time to plan for a July 2014 visit. Should it be a Solo trip or "Girls Only" event (I have 2-3 friends who might enjoy the time at Mickey's house with me)? I have been to Disney a few times before, but always with my kids. I know there's more to Disney than what I've seen, and would like to experience some of it.
So, let's get down to it: How long should I stay (3 nights? 4? 5?)? Where to stay (on-site? off?)? Mode of transportation (fly? drive? train?)? Dining? I know it's going to be un-gawdly hot and crowded that time of year, but I can't help when I was born.
Maybe a May visit would be good? Then again, I've never attended the Food & Wine Festival; I could go AFTER my birthday, in the Fall. Oh, the possibilities!
I'm going to take it slowly, do my research, and ANY tips from you will be appreciated.
BUT... I have a question that requires your help: Is it possible to get a Disney gift card, with a small denomination, say $10, and take it to the Disney Store each month, to continuously add money to it? I'm thinking in terms of the gift card being my Disney Savings account. Can I do that?
Thanks, everyone!
