I'm ALMOST done being pregnant, and as soon as my peanut is here, I'm planning my next WDW trip!!!!!!!!!! DH and I are suffering from some SERIOUS WDW withdrawl!

So, our next trip is going to be in October of 2003 for MNSSHP. It's going to have to be a short trip (4 nights) because I'm only going to be able to take 3 days off of work unless I take days without pay.

SO, should we plan to go to an early-in-the-month MNSSHP or the one ON October 31st? Is the 10/31 one really crowded? Our baby will be just over a year old at that time...

Also, for budgeting reasons (and a trip tentatively planned for August 2004) we will probably stay at a moderate. Which mod? CS is out......

I have stayed at CBR and CSR (didn't really like it there) and I want to stay at PO, but I also want to stay at CBR again. Is FQ smallish? I know Riverside and CBR are kind of sprawling and I don't want to shlep a baby around a large resort for meals and bus transportation.

So, do you recommend PO-R, PO-FQ or CBR? And which section of each resort? I don't like the decor of the rooms in Aligator Bayou - I've seen pics and it's too rustic for me. So I'd stay in the mansions.

Any advice, tips, suggestions are welcome.

Wow! It's fun to start planning again!!!!!!!!! ;) :p ;) :p ;) :p ;)

I like the CBR. Aside from the main pool you have a couple of others to go to as well. So if the main pool is crowded, you can take the baby to a quieter pool. You can request Martinique which is close to Old Port Royale so you won't be lugging a carriage and baby supplies all over the place. Also, I think the layout at CBR is great which would make it nice for taking the baby for walks. :D

I am assuming your are going to be taking the new baby. That is going to be a nice trip for you to unwind and get your mind off of work, housework and work work, My favorite moderate is as they used to call it Dixie Landings, I still can't get used to the new name. whatever you do go and enjoy. Oh would you like me to come and I can babysit so you and hubby can have a few nights out. hey that is the least I can do for my fellow DISers? ;) :teeth:

scanne--

I haven't stayed at a moderate yet and I haven't been to MNSSHP yet either so you can take my advice for what it's worth.

I think Oct 31 would most likely be the most crowded, just because it IS Halloween. But then again, other people might have that same thought and it might not be that bad. Hopefully someone who has been onOct 31 can tell youl

For the mods, I would personally choose PO-FQ. It's only got 6 or 7 buildings and the pictures I have seen look so wonderful. The wrought iron fences and the landscaping just look great, make you feel so relazed. You can get a water view on the river - where they have the boat that goes to Downtown Disney. With only a few buildings you are real close to the main building with the food court and the bus stops.

Just my $0.02

I highly recommend FQ with little ones. You're close to your room no matter where you are coming from. (You can never be too close to home when baby is crying:rolleyes: )

Another plus is that I think FQ is the most romantic of the mods! Even with our 2 year old, Dh and I felt like we were on a honeymoon while we were there. We had no probelms with the bus service their either.

Enjoy!!!

I feel the same way, LOL. No trips booked right now!

We visited the moderates last trip, and I think POFQ was probably my favorite. But, still, all I could see was that they were glorified All-Stars. I'm not sure I'd spend more than $20/night on a moderate over an AS.
