I'll second that! Do you mind if I copy it and save it in case I run into a similar buyer. I'd like to copy Steve F's notes too............I can use it to teach my kids the importance of learning grammar and usage!

Feel free to use it as an example if you want to. This was written a few years ago before we retired. I was, among other duties, the Security Officer for the Central Accounting System of the Federal Courts.

Humm! let me see if I can do the math. Negative feedbacks recieved in 4 months. = 6 One year being a member posibbly 6 X 3 = 18 negatives. Even the positives feedbacks are hard to believe because there are a lot of "Mutually withdraws feedbacks." Do you get suspended for having more negatives than positives? Last question, Why does Ebay allows a person to post personal information about an ebay member on the feedback pages? Doesn`t ebay has rules and regulations that say that a person can have access to a member to contact him/her for any problems, but that personal information given by Ebay should be strictly confidential and only to be used between buyer and seller, Not to put in on ebay feedback webpage where all the people can see it? I sure will block her from my sales, too. I don`t want him/her to publicized my personal info.

I have not looked it up recently, but eBay's rule used to be that if a person had a negative rating of four (that is more unique negatives than unique positives) they would be thrown out.

As mentioned, it's minus four unique. If the person has 1000 positives, they would need to have 1004 negatives (all unigue). And then someone has to report it to eBay.

Sounds like this person may be willing to do the "feedback removal", once you give them your neg. Someone said they had several of those.

I logged onto "my ebay" and then uptop clicked on "site map". Somewhere in there is a link that states "blocked bidder or blocking a bidder". I did this as well just to be safe. They should be allowed to put sellers personal info in their feedback. It just shows you what type of person this is...

The buyers starts calling my wife (via e-mails) a liar and states that in her dealing with ebay, that most sellers are "trailer trash, welfare recipients" . . . The buyer even changes her user name on ebay to "most-sellers-are-mutts"

Why would this person choose to buy from people whom she considers "trailer trash, welfare recipients, and mutts? Who is she to insult people? She can't even write! Seriously, she sounds mentally unbalanced.

Yeah, ebay must be SLEEPING right now or maybe they are solving IRS business problems. I read the CNN article about IRS and Ebay. Anyway this is what I found at the ebay help pages:

My Update!
I just discovered the EDIT a post button!
After DMrick told me about my mistake cause I was doing the same thing in a different manner, I searched the disney boards and changed the first real feedback with a combination of 2 fake phone numbers and included my favorite area code the MICKEY Mouse CODE 407!I had to delete the second feedback because I don`t want to expose the Ebay seller`s private information in the same way that Most Sellers Are Mutts display it at the ebay feedback pages.

Those are ( not anymore) the feedbacks left by Most-Sellers-Are-Mutts at the ebay feedback webpages.
Do you people here that know more English than me understand this? Sorry, but sometimes, I don`t understand ebay! How can they let this happen?
Ohh, I agree with the person that said "EBAY is sleeping!" Wake up Ebay!!!! Enforce your rules and regulations, or just delete them if they mean nothing.

I'm guessing that no one has reported this person yet. eBay depends on people to report. They don't look at feedback. So if the person who's name and number you posted didn't report it, I doubt anyone who's name it isn't would.
As eBay says:

Ooops, Sorry, Dmrick you are right! I should have not included a “sample” so people can understand what I’m saying. It is just that I never knew that selling at eBay was also including risking a person’s privacy records. If this was happening to me right now I will be crying a lot, or maybe, taking prescribed medicines.

I have never sold anything on ebay, but am a frequent buyer. I just don't want people like this giving us buyers a bad name!!! I am sure people already get a little suspicious of me (though I only have positive feedback) because my mailing address is a PO Box (mailbox at house has been torn from the ground and stolen twice, long story...), and I don't want people to be afraid to sell on ebay.

Anyway, as far as mutt's go, they are usually sweeter than the "pure-bred's" anyway!

Mine is a post office box, has been since '99. No one has ever said anything, and I see a lot of PO boxes on eBay. Heck, I don't want to give out my home address. I wouldn't worry about it if I were you.
