Hi everybody!

Have finally decided to include Sea World in our trip to Orlando next January. It's been a while since we visited this park so the 2nd day free option will be a blessing.

Although we haven't been to Wild Artic, Atlantis or Kraken, I would not want to get too many details.....no spoilers please...:p

What I really need is advice on dinning options. We usually eat one over the counter and one sit down meal while at the parks. I understand they have an area called the Waterfront now. Is that a separate area like Citywalk or Downtown Disney or is it inside of the park? What are the restaurants like? Is there a nice restaurant where we could have dinner and watch the fireworks?

Well, that's it for now.

Thanks,

The Waterfront is an area inside the park, down near the water/lake that is in the middle of the park.
As for restaurants, there are no sit down restaurants in the Waterfront, as far as I know. There is a great counter service restaraunt in the Waterfront called Voyagers. It serves a little of everything, even though it's called a pizza place. They have excellent sandwiches, pasta dishes, salads, pizza, and amazing deserts. For sit down meals, as far as I know there is only the Sharks Underwater Grill, and Dine With Shamu. Dine with Shamu is a dinner near the backstage area of Shamu stadium. This is a buffet though. There is also a luau, but I don't know what format that is. I'm not sure that there is really a restaraunt that you could watch the fireworks from, but we didn't stay for the fireworks as it was 40 degrees that night:earseek:, so I have no idea exactly where they are held.

Thanks for the info Heather!

Voyagers sounds like a nice option. Since our trip is in January, the park would probably close early, so we might just eat over the counter at the park and have dinner someplace outside afterwards.

Smoky creek grill is a good place to eat if u like ribs and chicken etc
:jester:

We love ribs...is that a sit-down restaurant?

I've tried to get information from the official SeaWorld website but they don't say much about the restaurants. Do you know of any other websites with SeaWorld information?

Hers a link which has menus etc for sea world hope that helps smoky creek grill is counter service with seating outsideMenus

Thanks highlander! I've got to go to work now, but I'll check this website tonight...there's a lot of information there!:bounce:
