I can actually see my collarbone now! I can feel my hipbones and the other day I put my leg up on the couch and put my hand on my knee. I was a bit startled at what was sticking out. It was a bone sticking out of knee. Wow! I honestly don't know when I have seen my collarbone last. It's funny to walk past a mirror and see them sticking out.

Anyone else notice their bones emerging now that you are losing weight?

Hi Lisa  I love to play the "who knew there were bones HERE" game! I have discovered my collarbones - LOVE how those look when you are wearing more open tops. ::yes:: My wrist bones, hip bones, even bones in my feet are more pronounced. It really is so great to see things I admired in other people becoming noticable on myself.

Me too! I am starting to see my collarbones too. DH thought I was silly for getting excited. Glad to see I'm not alone.:wave2:

This is kinda funny because I did notice my collarbones just yesterday or today and, at first, I thought it was just the way I turned but, nope, I was looking straight into the mirror. :D

Now, if there were some exercise for the double chin I still have, I'd be happy. :(

:sunny:

I can now see my ribs! :hyper: and yesterday I noticed my hip bones were showing through my jeans! :teeth:

Ive felt/seen the hip, pelvic, rib, foot bones, collar bones
Now Im starting to really notice the indentation under my ribs!
Also my legs arent really round any more

how about those shoulder blades that you can feel at the top of your back?

Good Morning Lisa Bones!:sunny:

Oh I remember when I first started seeing and feeling my bones! We were at Six Flags in Atlanta last year for ds's birthday and I had just gotten off one of the roller coasters. It had knocked and whipped me all around and I really felt something like a lump on my back. I made dh check it out and he said, "Uh, Kim, you don't have a lump--you have a backbone!" OMG! There wasn't as much fat-padding around my spine anymore and my backbone got all banged and bruised from the coaster. Soooooooo worth it!:smooth:

I also remember the first time I noticed that my thighs weren't rubbing together anymore. I was walking to my mailbox one afternoon when something just didn't feel right. I literally bent over, looked at my legs and said, "OMG! My thighs don't rub together when I walk anymore!" August 3, 2003 is a day I'll never forget! :teeth: :teeth: :teeth:

Much love Gorgeous WISH Sis!

Lisa - I hope you and your bony-self have an AWESOME time at WDW. I get excited just looking at your countdown clock! You go girl!

Lisa, you are great. It's great when you start finding your bones. I just discovered my ribs!!!! Who knew. They always seemed to show up when I laid down, but now there coming out when I stand up. :teeth:

You all are so cute! I got a good laugh and then noticed my self feeling around and looking in the mirror at my own bones.

I'm glad to see we're a bony bunch of WISHers! The discoveries during this weight loss journey are just awesome!

I know we will all reach our goals!

Lisa- Congrats on finding your lost collar bones!! It is definately a wonderful feeling. I still get excited now that I have found my hip bones.

Kimmie- I have yet to not have my thighs rub together. Guess I have to keep FIRMing and maybe one day soon!!

Congrats again Lisa!!

That's funny that you say that. This morning, my DH, God bless his soul, gave me a hug. He said, "Hey, you've got ribs!" I know he was trying to be comical, but it was nice that he noticed a difference. 15 lbs. down, 16 more to go! 130, here I come!

The first thing my DH noticed (with the first 10 lbs gone) was that my face had the "hunted animal look" - cheekbones. I'm not sure it was completely flattering.

Now my elbows, knees and behind are all quite sharp - according to DH. Sitting on his lap is dicey. I hate to think what kind of a weapon I'll become if I get down to goal weight!

I see/feel bones, too! What tickles me most is my jaw line - it's been many years since I had lines instead of . . . little pillows? I am really lucky that my double chin tightened up and looks good - maybe there;s hope for my upper thighs and upper arms!

Cool, isn't it!
