I'm going to WDW Oct 19th-23rd. We should be arriving to SSR around 11-11:30 am. My question to you is.... what theme park would you START at? I've heard on other boards that fast passes for EE at animal kingdom and RnRC at MGM are gone for the day by noon.... and with taking the busses we probably wont be there by noon....so, in your opinion.... what should we do?

Another option would be getting a 4 day hopper (which we are anyway) but not doing anything the 1st day, and Animal kingdom has EMH the morning we leave... but then we would have to be worried about getting out right on time to catch our plane.

See, this is why i wouldn't mind spending like a month down there:) Too much to do and not enough time to do it in!!!!!

thanks for your help in advance!

I would either do Epcot (they are open latest - though I haven't checked the hours for the times you are talking about) or MGM. If you did Epcot you could start with lunch and then head to Future World. Do the attractions you want to do, FP the ones you need to. Then you could head to the World Showcase for a tour of the countries you are most interested in and catch Fantasmic. At MGM I don't think FPs would be a huge issue at that time of year. There you could FP either ToT or RnR, eat lunch, return for your fast pass and grab another. You could cap off the evening at Fantasmic.

I generally don't do AK or MK on half days. I find that MK has just too much to do if I am not returning on that trip, and I really love to stroll through AK and look at EVERYTHING!

Anyway, I hope this helps! Have a great trip!

If you only have 1/2 a day I would do AK. It's the smallest park, and there is not as much to do, so you won't spend as much time there anyway.

I second the vote for Epcot. That's my favorite park to do on a half-day since you usually end up breaking it up anyways over a few days since it's open so late.

I love to have a plan...but do what you feel like doing once you get there. I like to start at MK..but I think on this next trip we will start at AK maybe. Who knows...as far as the FP be gone...it just depends on the day.

Just my opinion, but I would start at Magic Kingdom, and here is why. By the time you arrive at your resort, check in, etc, it'll probably all ready by well past noon, and AK closes around 5:00. I say, go to MK because there is nothing better to kick start your Disney trip than a view of the castle and a ride on Splash Mountain, or any number of classic MK attractions. Wait until you can get up early and hit EE first thing in the AM at AK.

As far as fast passes running out, I dont think that will be a concern this time of year. The crowds are generally very tame, and I wouldnt imagine having to wait more than 20-30 min for those attractions, FP or not.

thanks for everyone's replies! I still don't know what we are going to do... but... i think i'll start at epcot, but it's still up for grabs:) But thanks for all the feedback!
