Okay, I'm ready- I'm back and I've got a plan. And boy do I need one. I'm heavier than EVER and I just started a job in Sales where I have to go to a lot of lunches with clients. Minestrone Soup and salad are going to become my best friends. But here's my strategy. I am going to plan every day the night before or at the very latest in the morning. I'm going to post it here and then if it needs modification I'll modify it by the end of the day- But having it posted here (I feel) will keep me more accountable because I will be doing the walk of shame if I have to come back and post that I went over points. So here's my final journal for today

I'll post the update tomorrow night, if there is any.

edit: I refigured using the WW site and it came to less than I figured. I may stick a snack in there, but only after I see how lunch goes. I'm only going to glance at the menu to make sure what I saw on the website is in fact on there and then I'm putting the menu down and ordering first!

Well, lunch went better than expected, but dinner wasn't so good- drinks were involved and hey after one I don't need to lose weight anymore. Luckily I kept my head, even though the boss just ordered appetizers for everyone. I did NOT indulge like I would have otherwise. I did go over points, but it's nothing disasterous.

Here it is

Well, I had a mental plan this morning, but never posted it. It worked out okay, I stayed within points, but I didn't have any dairy and I feel like I should have eaten more during the day and less in the evening. Still not bad, I'm still On Plan and that's what I want.

Well there wasn't a plan for Sunday and it was an ugly day, so we'll be skipping over it, BUT it's done and we are back on track today. I feel badly that I stumbled but I've been off the wagon for so long I think it's no surprise that it's hard for me to hold on and keep riding up there, but I'm not going to dwell on it.

I'm currently in the 22 point range (only expect to be there for 2 weeks) and boy it was hard coming up with a plan to reach 22 today- the plan has me at 21- here it is

I joined Weight Watchers yesterday and it's official. Since I've moved here to Cocoa, FL from Massachusetts I've put on 14 pounds. Soooooo NOT the direction I wanted to head in, but yesterday's gone, so now it's just time to dedicate myself to change. And I am. Starting weight was 157. ugghhh....I can't even believe it- it's the highest I have ever been in my entire life, but I won't be here for long. Now, I know what the thought process is---how could someone move to Florida from Mass and GAIN weight- well believe it or not I went outdoors far more in New England than I have ever done down here. Summers were spent hiking the mountains of New Hampshire and winters were spent shoveling snow. The summer here was so hot, I did my errands on Saturday morning and barely ever left the house afterwards. I remember one day in August at EPCOT, we thought we were going to DIE.

Anyhow, the assignment for yesterday from the WW leader was to create and write down a "Winning Outcome" to describe exactly what I want to accomplish. It must be stated in the positive, specific, within my control and a good fit with my life.---well since it's possible we may be moving back to MA before the summer who knows what's going to fit into my life, but I am COMMITTED to making this fit this time. So here's my winning outcome.

I will be staying between 22 and 25 points per day and probably staying closer to 25 to start with.- I know WW target points are 22 for me. Too bad. When I first joined ww they gave you a range of 18-23 points (I was in a lower weight category then) and I ate towards the high end and I lost weight and stuck with it for a while, because I felt satisfied - and I had a desk job and didn't work out at the time and I lost 12 pounds. My target is 25 for the day, live with it.

I will be losing an average of 1.5 pounds per week. If I'm not, I'll revisit my 25 point decision, but as long as I'm averaging 1.5 it's going to be 25 points. I will be walking AT LEAST one mile for AT LEAST 5 days a week. Again, that's to start off with. We'll see where it takes me.

I will reach my Weight Watchers goal of 119lbs by the fourth of July. From there I'll keep reaching towards my personal goal of 110-112. (Anybody know what WW does if you are a lifetime member at a lower weight than you designated and maintain for a while? Do they adjust your lifetime weight?).

And no matter what happens, my focus is only on working the plan. If for some reason the weight doesn't come off and I have worked the plan, then I've done what I have committed to do.

And last but not least- I will be participating in the Disney Half Marathon 2007, and will do better than my 2005 time of 3:26:02. My goal will be to finish under 3:00.

Please keep your hands and feet inside the vehicle until the ride has come to a complete stop!

Hi, anniet! How is it going? I am so glad you joined the 100 day challenge. I hope you are doing well! :goodvibes:

 Hi Cam-

I've been doing well, journaling at ww.com and sparkpeople.com and unfortunately I haven't been posting here much.

I saw you at the half.....(assuming it was you, it said Cam on your shirt?)watched you pass just before you got to the back entrance of EPCOT near the finish and then saw you cross the line and you were such an inspiration!!!

So I'm still sticking to my plan (as the title of this thread so adamantly declares) but I just haven't been good at posting. I should just copy and paste them here, huh?

I think that's what I'll do!

Hi, Annie! I just saw this post. How cool! I am so glad you were there. If I inspired anyone at all I am so happy! Yes, I put "CAM" on my shirt so that I could get all the encouragement available! :cheer2: That was such an exciting time, knowing I was that close to the finish, but worried that if I pushed it and tried to run I might just collapse on my wobbly legs because of my tear-filled eyes! Seeing Chip and Dale at the FINISH line was so much fun and I'm glad I took the time to high-five them. It was a memorable moment!

Be sure to check in on the cheat free challenge thread and let us know how you are doing. Hopefully, great. If not, today's always a good day for a fresh start!
