After booking my flights and crummy off-site hotel in July, I have since looked at my options, and have decided to cancel my hotel (It was the Premiere Class), and take Disney up on their offer of 4 for the price of 3 at the Cheyenne hotel.

Hopefully this will add a little extra sparkle to my just-before-Christmas trip!

On looking into the prices, not to mention the hassle, there is very little difference between on-site and offsite, especially if you ake into account, transport, taxis (if I decide to go to Hurricanes) - on and not to mention the entrance costs to the nightclub!

So, I have a few questions,

- How does the Disney Hotel Fastpass work?
- Good Morning Fantasyland Breakfast - Is this the free (included) breakfast, in a different location?
- Is it really just a 10 mins walk to the park entrance?
- How do I takeadvantage of the £7 off the Buffalo Bills show (as mentioned on the disneylandparis website offers section)

Thanks, I'm sure I'll have even more questions before I go

Hi Steve

I can only comment on two of your queries.

From people we met walk is around 10-15minutes to park'

Good morning fantasyland is free and when we were there took place in the restaurant next to Pinnochio. But I would advise booking it up front as they only allow limited number of guests in each day.

Great news Stevey!! I've never stayed at the Cheyenne but it looks great!

The Good Morning Fantasyland is indeed free. You basically get to eat your breakfast in Fantasyland andd then also get to go on the rides in Fantasyland earlier than anyone who has not taken advantage of the GMF :)

I would say the walk from the Cheyenne may be a little longer than 10 minutes, but not by much - 15 mins maybe?? If you walk at a reasonable clip it may only be 10 minutes though :)

Posted at the same time as Angela there :)

Nice one Stevey!! :Pinkbounc

But I'm afraid I may be the bearer of bad news when I say that I don't think the Cheyenne offers the hotel fastpasses. :confused3

Hi Stevey we've stayed at the Cheyenne I'd say it is one of the nicest themed of the Disney hotels - it is about 15 minutes walk, perhaps longer with children, but don't forget you've the free shuttle buses arriving every 10 minutes or so and it's literally only about 5 mins on the bus - I'm sure you'll love the hotel and that you've made the right choice - have a great trip. :earsgirl:

Becky's right about the Hotel Fastpass not being available at the Cheyenne, but you can still make use of the standard fastpass facilities.

i'm really really looking forward to this now!!!! shame about the fastpasses, but looking forward to getting in a bit early!!

When doing my calculations, its amazing just how little the difference in price was. It'd been cheaper staying in Santa Fe, but I thought, seeing it was christmas, to go the extra bit!

Sooooooooooooooooooooo excited.

Oh, like in WDW, is your room key the entrance hopper pass?

Stevey
this must be booked before you go or you cant have the discount I found this out by chance last year as i talked to a dlp operator, book it on the phone

Unless they changed it, the room key and hopper pass are seperate things! The park pass is just a bit of paper, but I can't remember whether the room key is a plastic card or an actual key!

Yay for deciding to stay in the Cheyenne, I am sure you won't regret it! :sunny:

Room key was a plastic keycard and pass a very small bit of card. Nether were very impressive to look at. ;)

The hotel FPs are probably a pleasant little perk if you can get them, but I doubt the lack of them would make too much difference - I think you just get three per person for the length of your stay.

Now staying in a suite or DLH Castle Club entitles you to the unlimited VIP FP card - THAT would be wonderful!! :cloud9:

Oh YES. It's got to be one of my lifelong ambitions, staying in Castle Club. It would be SO nice to skip the queues all the time. But I don't know if I will ever be able to bring myself to part with the money, even if the VIP Fastpass would be an extreme perk!

I know what you mean - I would have to win the lottery before I could even think of spending money that way. But we can dream, Emma!!! :lovestruc

And dream we shall! :cloud9: I'll let you know as soon as my numbers come up in the Lottery tomorrow night. ;)

Hi Steve

we loved the Cheyenne. Hotel to parks was a leisurely walk with thre kids of no more than 15 minutes. We never felt it was worth the fight to get the shuttle bus.
As others have said you'll only get normal fasspasses with passport.

You have done the right thing totaly.

I stayed in the Premiere Class at Bussy this August it was mega cheap, its not very nice though.

The bathroom is like one from a caravan attached to the room.

There were no duvets just blankets, and the beds were really bad.

Also had a sort of lyno plastic flooring instead of carpet.

But, it was very cheap and enabled me to have a decent time. (£120 for 2 people with breakfast for 4 nights in the middle of August)

Might try the one next door, the campanile as it looks better quality.

I can put up with anything but staying onsite is worth a lot, especialy if its your first trip.

glad you said that chrismoo, starting to count the cost this morning. ha ha

oh, i booked online. do they post me out any info/tickets etc?

Stevey

Excellent news - we love the Cheyenne, preferred it to both the Sequoia Lodge and Santa Fe - great theming and a nice walk down by the Rio Grande to Disney Village which takes 10 mins - plus in the winter you get to see ducks skating on the frozen water!
